I got this as a present for a friend -- though the bottle was unfortunately broken in transit, it was promptly replaced and refunded. Their customer is service is fantastic, and the oil itself is amazing too. Happily recommend to anyone looking to make a positive investment in Israel/Palestine and yummy food in general!

I just returned from Israel & I visited this shop & tasted their olive oil & they are the best I have ever used. I brought some home & wanted to buy more to share with family & friends. Not only is the best product but this small business has an amazing story. Fantastic products that make wonderful gifts.

This summer we visited Sindyanna when we travelled to Israel. The olive oil was exceptional. We were excited to find that instead of lugging their heavy bottles home, we could order their products through amazon!Sindyanna is an example of Arab-Jewish cooperation that is rare in Israel and is a necessary model for the future.We met the Arab and Jewish women working there to create social change. The Jewish women created Sindyanna to provide their female Arab neighbors with ways to earn money and for their families to access to outside markets for the things they grow. When you use this delicious oil you can know you are helping real people.This starter pack is a good way to figure out which of their oils you like best.

I went to their olive orchards in Palestine last month, taked to the staff extensively, ate dinner with them and both brought back some of their products, including olive oil. I then bought some of their olive oil upon my return to the US. This olive oil and all other of their products come from a co-op of Arab and Jewish woman working together in and for peace in their respective countries. Do your self and them a favor by buying their products; all superb.

This is a nice gift set and I wanted to support the organization. I didn't read carefully although it is noted, but be aware that the olive oil bottle is TINY. The honey and zatar are a nice size. It did arrive in California in two days.

I liked the smooth gentle taste of the olive oil, surprised it wasn’t as aggressive as others I have purchased from the Mid East. It blends well with butter, enabling steak to be cooked at a higher temp, thus giving a nice crust on medium rare, otherwise quite difficult, plus not inserting a flavor I don’t want added. I prefer olive oil as my vege oil, but flavoring is a big issue as a rule. There was also the political/social aspect of this particular partnership that I wish to encourage and can think of no better way to do it than support women who are working well together providing a superior product that I wish to have in my life.

Obviously, the presentation of this set is perfect for gift giving.I chose to try both flavors and both tasted very nice. The true test is certainly as a salad dressing, where the olive oil has no place to hide.Both had slightly different flavors - but you could taste the lightness of the oil mixed with the vinegar. It made for a really good salad dressings.I also used it to cook with and it dissipated very quickly in the pan - which means I had to add more olive oil, but the veggies we were cooking tasted great!Nice set for yourself or as a gift. Olive oil tastes great.

didn't get much for the money

This is a beautifully packaged set of extra virgin olive oil. I think if anything it would make a great gift for foodies in your life and also supports the hard work and education of the Sindyanna of Galilee women.The oils are outstanding. They each have a special aroma and taste to them. We've been using them for cooking and in salads and they are delicious. Not something I have ever tasted before. They have such a nice quality to them that I almost hate using it because I don't want to use it all up too fast.I would say that this is the best EVOO I have ever tried. These women should be proud of what they are doing and the message they are sending. I would gladly buy this in the future and gift to friends.

I've been a fan of Sindyanna of Galilee oil and have enjoyed their organic olive oil before.This set includes both the organic and "house blend" of oil.These oils are among the best I've tasted. They are absolutely full-flavored and you can really taste the layers of goodness in this oil. Both have been wonderful on many of our dishes.While you are paying a premium for the organic oil, the cost of both bottles (8.45oz x 2) is almost as much as the much larger bottle (25.3oz) of the organic oil on its own.As a gift, I think anyone would be happy to receive this set.
