GOOD GROW BULBS!
These arrived packaged well in individual sleeves packed in one box, none where broke & all worked. I have used these in my grow room to germinate & grow garden vegetables up until stages of blooming for a lot them before I transplant to garden. I have started & grew tomatoes, cucumbers, chard, butternut squash, kale, pak choi, collards, peppers of all types. These bulbs have performed very well for growing at all stages of growth. I have used two of these bulbs at once for 3 seasons before replacing. For growing you need to keep these bulbs about 1 inch above plants at all times for best performance, requiring adjustable lighting base or table surface.

These lights don't last!
These lights are junk they dont last. I had two bulbs i bought along with my ballast that lasted over a year. Bought a 6 pack of these bulbs thinking they would last a long time and a month or so later I'm running the last two all the others have blown out.

A spa for my plants
This lamp was absolutely perfect. I have this in my basement to winter over plants. The plants love it so much, seems even better than actual sunlight. Seems like a spa for them. They may not want to go outside in the summer. Even my lemon tree which did not bear any fruit in the summer sunlight, is now in full-bloom!

Have already had two bulbs burn out after just a couple of months of use. In comparison, some of my older bulbs, in the same fixtures, are over ten years old and still working. Won't be buying again.

It's OK
I bought these to replace one of the burnt out tubes in an older ballast I already owned. I took two more of the tubes and installed them in a new ballast I got at Home depot. I give this product credit for being what it was descibed to be, and it does work fine. However, I also just recently purchased a hydrofarm grow light system (4 ft long, 4 tube fixture) and have these three units installed in my greenhouse. This gave me the opportunity to put similar plants under each and see if they worked equally well. I was hoping they would be comparable, as it would be SO much cheaper to buy more ballasts at Home Depot and outfit them with more GE lights. Unfortunately, the GE lighting does not work as well.I read that GE's bulb focuses heavily on the red and blue parts of the spectrum, which plants do like. The hydrofarm, on the other hand, is full spectrum. I don't any other specifics, but I can say that my lettuce and pepper plants are definitely bigger and greener under the hydrofarm unit. Plants are growing under the GE, but they aren't thriving at the same level.Hydrofarm units are expensive, so I truly wish things had turned out differently. I am going to try to outfit a ballast with a Sylvania or Phillips full spectrum light and see if that works better. If not, I will save my pennies and invest in another hydrofarm unit next spring.

Good deal.
I have a large plant stand with 6 grow bulbs and I was tired of buying them singular. I was glad to see they could be bought this way. They arrived intact . The price was reasonable also. I would recommend buying them this way if you need them often.

Indoor tropical jungle
I grow African violets and orchids under lights indoors. These bulbs work well. They are not too bright or hot, and don't burn the plants.

Read the details carefully
The text clearly states in two separate places that this is a 24 pack. That is wrong. You will only receive 6 bulbs.
