GAME CHANGER FOR MY DOG! Easy to stick on
Like most of us, when our dogs get older, their hind legs start to go. My little dog seven is nonstop and full of energy. We were putting carpets all over the floors because every where she walks her back legs were slipping and she ended up tearing a muscle. I ordered these patches and let me say they truly were a game changer. I did not follow the instructions, I literally just stuck them on her back paws and they work amazing don’t bother with cutting and trying to stick them on each toe that doesn’t work at all. Peel them off hold your dog and Stick them on the back paw and they work amazing. She’s running around with confidence because she’s not sliding. Truly a game changer one of the easiest products I used. I also bought the booties and they did not work. They kept falling off those socks so I would reconsider the socks guys. These stickers work great my dog is about 13 pounds and I got her size medium and it takes me probably 10 seconds to stick them on both of her back paws Truly a game changer so glad this company created the product! Lowers our stress level of fur baby owners. The last thing you want to see, is your dogs back legs buckling on the floor. This will stop that! Hope this helps everyone who is experiencing their pups legs slipping.

XXXL Size Way to Small For a Great Dane - Update 08/21/2020
UPDATE: 08/21/2020Now that we’ve been using these a few days I can add a bit more information.1) cutting the adhesive patches into 4 and sticking them on the individual pads was a bad idea. They don’t stick very well at all and most fall off by the end of the day. Placing the entire patch on the paw - even though too small - works much better.2) adhesion is a problem. When they’re on, they work. Keeping them on is the issue. Even applying the entire patch to a paw, they still fall off after two days (at best), then must be re-applied. This is particularly true if the dog spends anytime outside.Original Review:Purchased these for my aging male Great Dane. His bare paws slip around a lot on the hardwood floors, and thought these pads might help. They arrived today. Immediately they lose a star for:1) There were no instructions so I just had to wing it based on comments and reviews from others here on Amazon. OK, so I can figure out how to put them on, but . . .2) even the XXXL size is way to small for my Great Dane's paws. To be fair, at 190 lbs he is way over the 80+ lb rating of the XXXL size guideline, but that's as large as they come. So order I did.To make them fit I had to cut them into individual pads for the 4 pads on my dag's paw. So instead of 1 adhesive paw print overlaying all 4 pads of the paw, the adhesive paw print was cut into 4 pieces and stuck to each pad separately. (hope that makes sense). I'm not sure how well they will stick this way, but it's working so far.The good:1) My dog doesn't seem to mind wearing these. He doesn’t even pay any attention to them at all.2) They definitely help him grip the wood surface of the floor. When he goes to get, up his legs don't splay and slip out from under him like they used to. Big thumbs up for this!I'll come back and make updates if things change. Until then you can assume this is working for my dog.

Does work but falls off too fast.
He doesn’t seem to notice there applied. Helps a lot with traction. Easy to apply. But only lasts a couple of days.

Whatever It Takes
When I saw these anti slip grips I bought them in a New York minute! I have booties, but, they're too much trouble to put on the dog. Read on, it's worth the info. Here's how I apply them and it works great for my large breed senior dogs. I peel off a self sticking grip and lay it sticky side up on the floor in front of the dog's foot. Then I pick up the foot and place it down in the center of the grip. I apply a little downward pressure and voila! My dogs don't slip and they don't mind the pads. We're not looking for perfection here, just that it sticks onto the pads. I trim the hair from between the pads, but, it will work without the trimming. Some folks have commented that they fall off. Yeah, they're meant to eventually fall off. Would you want something on your dog's pads that never come off? I don't. After a few days they start to lose them. I'M FINE WITH THAT. Anything that helps my dogs not slip is worth it even for a few days. Some have recommended cutting them into separate pads and applying them to individual toes. For us, that caused the pads to fall off within a few hours. I recommend leaving them in one piece. Theirs more surface adhesive that way.One last thing, I found the size recommendation too large. For my Golden Ret and my Great Pyr, I'm ordering a large instead of XXlarge. Too much pad stuck out all around the bottom of the foot.

I wish I would of bought sooner
I purchased these anti-slip paw pads for my senior dog, who was struggling to stay stable on our hardwood floors. Before using them, his legs would slip out from under him, often causing him to splay flat on his stomach, which was both painful and frustrating for him. After applying these paw pads, the difference was immediate! They provided just the right amount of grip, allowing him to walk confidently without slipping. The adhesive is strong but doesn’t bother him, and they stay on well throughout the day. Plus, they’re easy to replace when needed. These pads have been a game-changer for my older dog’s mobility, helping him move around safely without fear of falling. Highly recommend for anyone with a senior or mobility-challenged dog on slippery floors!
