It actually worked!
I am a one woman show so that means that all blood draws and IV sticks fall on me. I dont have the luxury to ask someone else to try because if I would, it would be my shadow. Anyhow, I tried this on a patient who I have a good rapport with and only had one single good vein I normally use for her IVs. I decided to use this baby and try it on areas I could not find a vein. Needless to say, I was able to locate one with this device and I HIT IT!! I felt like I won the lotto!! Totally worth my money!

Didn't work
I had high hopes for this but, it does not work without pushing it against the arm and that doesn't even always work. I work on a med/surg floor and thought this would be helpful when we had people with very bad veins but nope. Don't waste the money I really wish I could of given this more stars, I'm sorry!

3 stars. Worked well, just wish it were made a little better.
The vein finder was good for finding shallow veins however, the micro USB plug at the bottom came loose and thus the vein finder stopped working within one month from purchase. 3 stars, worked well, just wish it were made a little better.

cool gadget
Very cool. Works best in darkness so if your drawing blood and you get the needle set you should have an extra person to click your light on. Do not look at the light directly

Why?
Product has to be plugged in in order to work. I don't know if mine is faulty or thats how ots supposed to be but im assuming there is supposed to be a battery in there so I can use it mobile thinking about finding out a return policy with Amazon

Su diseño no es práctico .. invv cc omito para poder canalizar la vena .. no es recargable .. debe estar conectado para funcionar

Worked amazing but still waiting on my replacement...
It worked well for a few months. But when the connection to the device broke apart. I asked for it to be fixed or replaced. Since i paid for the warranty and they are yet to send me my replacement. Its been 10 months.
