Fixed Forever

First, I have to admit that I am a HUGE, HUGE Hudson & Alayna fan! I’ve been hooked on the Fixed Series for years. When I found out that Laurelin was writing another book for Hudson and Alayna I was jumping for joy!! Waiting for this book seems like forever but holy crap was the wait worth it. This book was the perfect continuation of H & A!! Fixed Forever is an absolute page turner and has it all. Angst! Heat! Passion! Feels! Suspense!! As well as Alpha-dad Hudson!! Gah! I guarantee this will make you swoon!! AND while we all know of the epic love Hudson and Alayna have for each other this book kicks it up a notch! When Alayna hears the news about Chandler’s engagement to Celia’s step-daughter it kind of throws her into a bit of a tailspin. Memories from the past with the manipulative Celia kind of haunt her. Not only that but it rachets up her anxiety, self-esteem and shakes up her and Hudson’s life a little. Now don’t get me wrong, Alayna, is still the same brilliant, spitfire that she has always been. Getting to see her as a mother of three just made me smile. With the twins about a year old not and emerging for a bit pf post-partum depression she is starting to feel that she is ready to tackle something a little bigger … something that will give her a chance to use he mind and getting out of the house again. Yet, unbeknownst to Alayna, Hudson’s world is having its own crisis. After a series of cryptic messages have been received by Hudson the receipt of a picture of Alayna and the twins shakes him to his core. Believe me he will not leave any stone unturned either. So, Hudson ups both the security team investigating the messages as well as the bodyguards to protect his family. Here’s where it starts to get a little messy. Alayna’s insecurities cause her to show up unexpectedly at the loft. Finding Hudson asleep she snoops and discovers that he kept these cryptic messages from her and freaks. Furthermore, with full disclosure from Hudson she finds H is checking into persons from his past. A past that also includes Celia, Alayna’s nemesis, and Hudson’s days together playing games with peoples lives!! Would this collaboration lead to the person responsible for the messages or would it just mess with Alayna’s mind? Fixed Forever is a well-crafted puzzle that keeps you not only intrigued but has your mind running on overtime trying to figure out who’s sending the messages to Hudson. And when they do, it’s gonna blow you away!! The double Epilogue at the end was equally good but Hudson’s absolutely left me swooning!! How does everything he says just not sound so romantic and leave you drooling? Not to mention the great big smile it left on my face!!

Ok, ever since I found the Fixed series, Hudson has been my favorite book boyfriend of all time. And this book just sealed the deal! I could not put this one down! Page after page of suspense, heartbreak, worry, love, steam, it just never stopped!! Facing the unwelcome news that Hudson's former "play-mate", Clelia is soon to become part of their family, Alayna struggles with her obsessiveness and anxiety. Hudson, always her rock, provides the calming force she needs to get through it. Together, they can withstand anything, right? Noticing his distance, he insecurities rise to the surface, fearing that he has lost interest in her. When she discovers that he's been keeping secrets from her, ones that spell danger, can she convince him to let her in - to let her be part of the solution? When the threats come to her door, will she lose him forever? Hudson has been keeping the threats as far away from Alayna as he can. He needs to handle this and protect his wife and children. For the life of him, he can't figure out who is behind it. He can imagine the why- he wasn't a good person before. He played games. People were hurt. Destroyed. Unable to keep Alayna from the truth, they embark on a quest to solve the puzzle and put an end to whoever dared to threaten their family. But, all too soon, the danger becomes all to real and they may be out of time. Will their family be torn apart? Has he failed in his vow to keep them safe? This was the best out of the series!! I loved it! I have loved watching these two get together, grow, and just jump all over each other! If you haven't read the series, I highly recommend you do. You won't be disappointed. And, when you get to this one? You'll still be begging for more.

Forth and final book in Hudson and Laynie’s story. It was a 3.5 star read for me which I normally try not to do. It was hard because I liked it more than my other 3 star reviews but less than the 4 star ones. So 3.5 it has to be :) It was a good book but not filled with much angst or excitement. I was surprised once we find out who’s sending the letters but not really shocked especially once that person makes an appearance. I was ready for something to go down there. I enjoyed seeing Hudson in the dad role, it made him even more endearing then he’s already grown to be. Laynie has never been my favorite heroin because I think of her as consistently whiny but it was good to see her in the mother role as well. Neither Hudson’s nor Laynie’s devotion has decreased in any way. If anything it seems to have grown on both sides. They still very much have a hot and heavy relationship. They exchange harsh words at times but they are both comfortable enough in their marriage to do so and it’s a perfect portrayal of how real marriage is. It was nice to get back into their world for a bit. I’m not sure yet if I’ll be reading Celia’s story. She was easy to hate in these books so it’s going to be hard to switch that off to try and understand her character. It’ll still a year away though so we’ll see!

My favorite book couple is back! I have loved Hudson and Alayna from the very beginning and was thrilled when Fixed Forever came out! This story picks up seven years and three children later. Hudson is still being his usual protective self when it comes to his family. Someone is threatening them and Hudson is determined to keep Alayna in the dark and find out who is behind the threats on his own (well, with his team anyway). Alayna knows something is wrong and her “crazy” is starting to get to her. She can feel that something is off with Hudson, but what? For two people who vowed not to keep secrets ever again, the past looks like it’s going to repeat itself.’ This book is packed with suspense, the sex scenes are steamy and the love they have for each other is off-the-charts! This story also shows what Alayna and Hudson have been through and the growth of their characters from the start of the series. I loved how characters from previous books make appearances to give the story just that little extra touch. This was an awesome ending to a well-loved series, one I will keep on reading and reading and reading. Hoping that this will not really be the end of Hudson and Alayna and that they will come visit us all soon once again.

They're back! Hudson and Alayna are back! Okay. Now, here's the thing. You HAVE to have read the other books in the series prior to this book. That's key. But its a series...so you should already expect that. And I absolutely LOVE that I get to visit my favorite couple a few years down the line. We all wonder what happens after that last "The End" of the last book. And now we have it! These two characters are beautifully broken and wonderfully flawed. They have complete, absolute bone deep love and devotion to one another. They have always been one of my favorite book couples of all time. I've read this series more than a few times and even have the audiobooks. (I cant help it! Hudson and Alayna make me swoon!) So when I found out they were getting another book - Yeah. I admit it. I may have screamed a little inside. Laurelin Paige did not disappoint. She never does. But with Hudson and Alayna. My goodness. I devoured this book. I've read it twice already! Seriously, the way these two have taken over my heart - I was glued to each and every page. I couldnt put it down, I had to know what was going to happen. I felt like I couldnt read fast enough because I needed to know! The suspense, the angst, the emotions, the feels. You get them ALL. They've both grown as individuals and as a couple. Of course the past comes back to haunt them. Insecurities and secret dangers - the intrigue keeps you on your toes. Alayna is still the strong, beautiful, smart woman she always has been. And Hudson? Hello Alpha-Daddy. They have always captivated me and sucked me in. They're both so deeply devoted to one another. They protect one another with fierce determination. There are parts where you want to scream at them of course. Where you're ugly crying. Then there are the moments that have you smiling and laughing. Seeing these two as parents - Ugh. It was such a beautiful thing to see. And lets not forget how hot and sexy these two are..Your em-reader might melt. Just a warning because...Well.. Yum! Seriously, this is series has always been a favorite of mine. Im beyond thrilled that we got more of them, and in a way that has given us relationship goals. We should all aspire to love like these two do. I could not recommend this series..this BOOK more. If you haven't read any other Laurelin Paige book..Do yourselves a favor and get the Fixed Series. I wish I could give more than 5 stars. Im in serious book-hangover mood. And now I wait..for the audiobook next. So I can obsess more.

I read the Fixed series years ago. I liked Hudson and Alayna. Hudson was my favorite boyfriend material. This book is about the two main characters and the continuation of their ever after. It is astonishing to find out how both characters have not changed and at the same time they have grown and built a family. Still Hudson past hunts him, and Alayna mental sickness and OCD makes her so obsessed with every little thing of her daily life. Alayna is the perfect wife, smart and enough nicely said by Mina to her father; Hudson. The kids are very cute. This book was nice to read, to peek into Hudson and Alayna life. However at times it was a boring read and I’ll admit that I skipped some sentences. It had a surprised suspense in figuring out the villain in the book. I liked some of Hudson’s quotes in the book such as the beauty and the beast reference. I liked the chemistry between the two characters still alive. Three stars because I find it slow and boring at times. I believe it would have been interesting to have included some closure between them and Celia. Possible also to give a peek into Celia life with husband. I am not sure I want to read the entire book about Celia, after all she was the bad mean villain in the previous books, not sure I want to redeem her.

I was extremely nervous about this book. The Fixed Trilogy is one of my ALL time favorite series. Hudson Pierce is one of my top 3 favorites. Going into this book I tried not to have too many expectations, but Laurelin Paige really sets the bar high. I have to say this book was everything and more. I loved how she kept us on edge for most of the book and just when you were positive you knew which way the story was going it takes a turn that has you saying OMG more often than not. She added to Hudson and Alayna's story without ruining it like some do when they add another book to the series that was already perfect. And can we talk about the author's notes and acknowledgements. I love reading them because you get little glimpses into the authors mindset while they wrote the book. This was the very first time that the author's notes had me crying. Needless to say I have always considered Laurelin Paige as one of my all time favorite authors, and this book definitely sealed the deal on that forever. ABSOLUTELY a must read for all who have loved The Fixed Trilogy and Hudson world. Do not be scared it is a great story that only adds to them and takes nothing away.

Love Hudson and Alayna so much. I love that they love each other in spite of their turbulent past and how they complete each other’s other. One part that resonated with me was that Hudson and Alayna showed and expressed their love intimately, as most males do which, I believe does not always reveal to others.

It’s a must read book! Love it!

Oh how I’ve missed Hudson and Alayna . Having been married for a few years Alayna & Hudson now have three young children under four years, after the birth of the twins though Alayna suffered with depression and OCD, for which she had therapy and medication for . With her health improving they are now facing another crisis ,when the anonymous letters that Hudson’s been receiving for a while get a little more creepy . Of course not wanting to worry his wife,he keeps their existence from Alayna but as we all know secrets tend to surface at some point and she’s not pleased when she finally finds out that it’s been kept from her . After increasing his security in all areas there’s not much Hudson can do although he does turn to Celia for help because he’s convinced that’s it’s someone from their past that’s doing this . When Alayna goes missing Hudson’s security reveal that she also may have been drugged the race is on to find her and of course the purpertrator is finally reviled, and no I’m not saying who it is although I did guess the persons identity before the reveal . I thoroughly enjoyed reading the story the only down side is that we have to wait until June next year for the story featuring Celia and Edward Fastbender .

Wow what an epic journey these two have been on.. with all their trials and tribulations they so deserve to be together with their little family.
