20V MAX Combo Kit, Compact 4-Tool (DCK420D2)

The value is great for the things that you get in this combo kit. The two 20V batteries a great for a normal household use, and the brushed motors are good enough for the money you pay for them. The light is powerful enough for night time work. The reciprocating saw is good enough to cut almost most woods or pipes (you only need to buy the reciprocating saw blade). The drill and the impact drivers are well built and handle almost most household tasks that you throw at them (from drilling wood and even metal to impact driving big screws and help with tire lug nut).

This is a really good combo set, especially for the price. It comes with 2 batteries, just be aware that they are the smaller, 2vh batteries, so on the Sawzall, (which pulls a lot of power), they don't last too long before needing a re-charge. That is the only negative. Really happy with this, and plan to buy additional batteries/chargers anyway.

Good kit. I use these tools quite a bit and never let me down. The 2Ah battery kinda sucks though if you have a big job. But you can purchase 4-6Ah batteries that get the job done. Overall great tools!

Quality set of power tools and LI batteries. Counting the light as a tool is kind of a stretch (I’d have preferred the circular saw) but it’s a great set of tools for most homeowners. Dewalt makes quality products and you can’t beat the deals you get on them here.

Lots of tools for the money, two batteries and charger - no complaints. HOWEVER - My previous generations of DeWalt cordless tools have been higher-end than what is in this package, and with larger batteries. So be aware of exactly what you're buying. I ended up keeping my older drill because it is heavier-duty, which has its uses. The drill with the new set is more compact and far lighter, with the smaller battery - which is very nice for 99% of normal household utilization. I haven't used the rest of the tools that came with the kit (drill only, so far) so I'm hoping for/expecting the best, when the time comes! DeWalt has never let me down before. Dewalt - I will remind you of this until you fix it. Build bit-holders into your cordless drills. It's SILLY to make people order them separately and attach them to the drills. It's a simple enough feature to include on your otherwise premium products. Thanks!

I like Dewalt products. I find them extremely durable. The new batteries are great. New to me. The tools that change bits without the need for tools are great.. I still remember drill-chucks and, for that matter, drills that were made of metal. What?!@

Love this set, everything in it works great. Edit 5/5/2019: Spend the money and get a good blade for the saw and it will power threw anything and everything.
