An extraordinarily delicious lifesaver!!
Fantastic!! Both this and the chocolate flavor of the Sport shakes are just so perfect, it's almost like they were tailor-made for me! Well, I DID say "almost." I still have to add in a few extra things due to a chronic health condition (mitochondrial disease) which leads to muscle breakdown, hence the need for lots of protein and createine, extra nutrients and antioxidants, and a balanced nutrient profile including healthy fats. Not to mention it tastes awesome! Because of its awesomeness, I am able to safely add numerous powdered and oil supplements to the shake without making it taste bad; the shake is thick enough and the flavor is strong enough and good enough to amply cover whatever stinky powders and yucky oils I may add (I'm particularly looking at YOU, acetyl-L-carnitine!). I should mention that I make this shake in a 16 ounce shaker bottle, which is more fluid than the directions call for, but it is just right in this proportion. The Sport Turbo flavors call for two scoops instead of one of the Spiru-tein powder per serving. I use half vanilla hemp milk and half water from the fridge, very cold. Yum yum yum! Incidentally, I also take all my yucky pills (vitamins, supplements, medications) with these shakes, and it makes the pills SO much easier to tolerate! I don't taste them, they go down easier, the shake cushions my sensitive stomach against the pills...the whole experience is just much less unpleasant and I look forward to my shake each morning. Well done, Nature's Plus! Hopefully they will consider adding more flavors to the lineup in the future. Sometimes I mix in other flavors of the regular Spiru-tein powders to have a change of pace. I just use a bigger shaker bottle and add the two scoops of (usually vanilla for mixing) Sport mix and a scoop of a complimentary flavor, such as the Chai Latte flavor, and go from there. Who says being healthy has to be boring? :-)

Good as a starting point.
I bought this for a friend of mine and she really likes it. It tastes good (for a sport shake) which makes it a good starting point toward a healthier lifestyle. However, the ingredients of Fructose and, to a lesser extent, Soy are the reason for this 3-star review. Now that she's gotten momentum from positive results, I'm going to try and get her to move on to a better option. There is another product I like far more than this but I won't name it because I'm not advertising anything. Just look around, superior alternatives are available.

Review for Spirutein Sport.
I have depended on Spirutein for about ten years now. My mother and I have used the origlnal Spirutein Vanilla (with a banana) for a quick energizing meal when we are in a rush or when it's too hot outside to eat. I have about four years using the Sport one for extra calories, extra protein and the energizing herbs Ginseng and calming ashwagandha root. Spirutein Sport did gave me a funny spike, heat sensation but no jitters. This has no caffeine and I do not even consume more than 70mg of caffeine in tea so I know what is safe on the nerves or not and Ginseng is perfect! I feel I can run my errands, do the house chores plus more and barely need a break. Its great for Summer and running around trying to get thngs done under a heatwave. It is VERY filling when you add fruit (banana). I take it for breakfast and can barely get anything in for lunch so it is great for those wanting to loose weight. On the contrary, I am trying to gain muscle and weight and the Sport one does that well. It is two scoops per serving so it goes quickly but it is NOT that thick as if you would to add two scoops of the original Spirutein. I just ordered the Turbo Chocolate Sport one and it's so delicious! Taste llike hershey's. I have tried a few of the rest but they all tastes like chemicals especially the Cappuccino - tastes like how I believe mud would taste. Vanilla and Chocolate are my two flavors that will never let you down and can be played around with any fruits, spices or liquids. But do try the Sports one if you are active. I like how awake, calmed, worked out I feel after my day with this. I lived with this stuff for years and on difficutly times so I recommend it like heck for nutrition, energy and more!

Received the wrong product...
Instead of receiving spirutein sport I received regular vanilla spirutein. I returned it immediately. From previous experience the regular vanilla tastes awful and I can’t stomach it. I used to love all the flavors until they changed the sugar and now it’s not edible. Spirutein sport tastes amazing in my opinion but that is if you receive the correct product.

Spiru-tein gets it right. Not too heavy for post-workout protein, great vitamin/nutrient mix.
I'm a regular Spiru-tein user and this is the first time I have tried the sport version. I've just begun using it for a month now so I can't tell yet if it's any more beneficial than other conventional protein supplements for muscle building. However, I am pleased with the fact that the protein is spread out over a couple different sources and isn't just soy-based. We usually have the powder mixed with milk, it tastes pretty good but is slightly gritty compared to normal Spiru-tein. It's also not quite as thick/creamy. This is OK too, though, we don't really like anything heavy after a workout or being outside working in the summer. It doesn't weight us down. Really like the vitamin mix, it's the only drink mix of its type that doesn't have completely unnecessary overdoses of basic vitamins. That's just a waste, your body expels overages anyway, and some high-doses are bad for long-term health! Spiru-tein gets it right.
