You have to peel off the cover Angela? of course you can't see through the paper attached to the sheen. It is one of the best products i have ever put on a phone or tablet. Soap and water worked prefect and the glare when i was watching Netflix is totally gone, crystal clear picture. I was amazed that this screen protector could make my picture 10 times better and my wife was also amazed. It took about 20 mins to put on and i think the soap and water are to make sure you don't get any dirt or dust in it. It is fingerprint proof and scratch proof, as i tried to put a scratch in the corner and i couldn't do it. If i could give it 6 Stars i would. Amazing product!!!
