Q: Is this choclo, like what you should use in ceviche?

Looks like Peruvian Inka corn like in the city of Custco.

Q: I planted the peruvian corn on 6/15/21 in san jose, ca. today 8/25/21, they are healthy, 15' tall but there is no sign of kernels. any suggestions?

I planted around 6/1 no kernels. But I heard it could take up to 150 days which is not good for the fall is coming. Next year pot plants and transfer in May.

Typically 1 ear, sometimes 2 per stalk.

Q: Is this a Perennial in zone 6?

I do not know about Zone Six, but the corn is open pollinated which means that the kernels can be used for the next growing season. The giant corn does grow well here in Utah providing one has irrigation. I hopes that this answers your question. Steven.
