HutzlerLopol Plastic Utensils Set, 11", White

I got a set of 12 of these 30 years ago. In that time with everyday use, one spoon broke and the dishwasher finally ate the finish off most of the others. I expect the set I just bought will last longer than I will. Great shapes/sizes – the only brand to have a decent fork and scraper. Nonscratching for teflon pans.

Kitchen utensils tend to be ugly black. I needed white ones to match my kitchen decor, as I have them on display. Saw these online and decided to test them out. I don't regret my decision. Thank you!

Bought a new dish washer with a dark interior. Then we realized the difficulty of seeing dark utensils against a dark background. These white utensils are a perfect answer. They solid and appear to be durable.

I bought white utensils, but they turned yellow after one use. Worthless.

We have a really really old one of these spatulas and all three of our girls have grown up and left the house and covet our spatula. I finally took the time to get out a magnifying glass and identified the brand and model and model number of our old spatula. I found they are still being made and were available on Amazon. I have purchased the 2 set of spatulas for all three of our daughters and had them shipped to them. Now we don't have to worry about our favorite spatula mysteriously disappearing. This spatula clearly lasts a lifetime, is made out of nylon, which make the spatula the perfect stiffness and is easy to clean and care for. The spatula is not stiff like the hard plastic ones you can buy. The best part is that the handle is not long and fat. I've found the long and fat handle utensils fall apart and you can't get as many into your counter-top organizer, in fact, now that I know the brand I also found this 8 piece set which I bought for our use because we also happened to have a really really old ladle that we love. So happy to have a full set of these wonderful utensils, brand new and ready for a good 30 years or more like our others.

Flimsy

Great set of utensils. You may not be able to tell from pictures, but they are definitely much better quality than the cheapo Wal-Mart kind. I feel like I shouldn't have to say this because its common sense, but I will anyway - don't leave anything made of plastic in heat. Stir your soup, flip your patty, serve your veggies and then take it out of the pot for goodness sake.
