Cra-Z-ArtDeluxe Cotton Candy Maker with Lite Up Wand TV

I purchased this item early and I am glad that I did because I had been trying to get my hands on this item for two years!! Last year after purchasing this item online from a big box store, the department store sold my item before I could pick it up and then lied claiming that there was systems glitch. I was not taking any chances this year and purchased it early as mentioned earlier. The recipient loved the item. I should also mention that trying to get the Cra-Z-Art Cotton Candy mix was a disaster because every time I purchased the mix, the merchants were not be able to fill the orders, so ultimately I ended purchasing the Floss sugar from a different merchant which included 100 paper wands and it works perfectly with the Cra-Z-Art machine. In fact, it was more cost effective for me because I got more in quantity and the quality was great. So in the end, it was a blessing for me that I could never get my hands on the the Cra-Z-Art mix. I would recommend the Cra-z-Art Cotton Candy Maker Kit.

The overall machine does exactly as advertised, makes cotton candy pretty easily. Mine came in the original box with a shipping label. Needless to say the box was in tatters by the time it reached me. The light up wand was missing and all other accessories except the plug in. The light up wand was one of the things that made us purchase this particular one. My son was very disappointed, but we made due. Another big thing you should note is this machine does not come with any floss sugar to make the cotton candy so be sure to buy that at the same time. Machine works pretty good, but does not make the big cotton candy like pictured. Much smaller but still good.

I received the package after promised they did not meet their end of the deal. It does not work well. It hardly makes any cotton candy at a time, not even enough for one bite. There was no balance. It doesn't allow you to pour and collect very well. Then it broke within 10 minutes of turning it on and less than 5 minutes of use. I don't want to have to waste my time to return, but I do want my money back. I am so disappointed that it missed our event and it did not even work. Sellers should not sell such a crappy product. Amazon should not allow sellers to sell products that don't' work. It wastes everyone's time and money and I am losing faith in Amazon. They are not keeping their word on more and more things.

I saw this cotton candy maker had gotten bad reviews but it was the one my 5 year old really wanted so I went with it anyway. We think it's great! It does spin some sugar out on the table but it's really not that bad if you are careful about how much you put in. Ithe makes cotton candy in my kitchen and does it just about as well as I would expect for the price.

Big bucks and big mess. Doesn't come with colored sugar and good luck finding vey fine colored sugar. It runs constantly for 30 minutes whether you want it to or not. The glowing "wand" stick is pretty, but the cotton candy doesn't stick to it and it is really just a gimmick. It came with about 3 or for flimsy paper cones which is not surprising and you can easily make your own. We ended up using regular white sugar first and since it is just heated up sugar, it tasted like cotton candy, just white in color. Then tried using some sugar baking sprinkles, that worked to give it some color. Overall the cotton candy is fine. However, the directions are a bit difficult to understand and the machine is very flimsy plastic. Instructions state repeatedly do not turn it off, do not unplug, it automatically stops after 30 minutes. Well, it took a lot less than 30 minutes for us all to be done with the cotton candy making and it is a very loud machine. As directed, let it run until it finally cycled off. It is a challenge to clean. Well, for a fun gift to give it is a great idea. I feel it is way overpriced, too loud and the kids lost interest in it pretty quickly. Not worth the money for the glow wand.

Daughter had this on her Santa list 2 years in a row, last year I left it too late to get one so this year figured I'd better get in early. It doesn't make big professional looking masses of cotton candy like the illustration on the box but it works better than I expected and not as messy as other reviews had led me to fear. I could see tiny wisps of cotton candy floating around in the air as we did it but I had envisioned great streams of hot spun sugar jetting out all over the kitchen. Comes assembled but relatively easy to take apart for cleaning, we did find the cotton candy doesn't stick to the light up wand very well - what did work well was a couple of old chopsticks we had left over from a sushi night, it seems the cotton candy needs a little texture to glom on to initially as plastic wands I purchased with sugar from another source didn't work too well either. The cotton candy wand will probably end up being a light sabre.

Great value. Works great. Gets messy but worth it. In my experience it does not make big clumps of cotton candy like what you would think.

Did exactly what it said it would. Cute toy for my 7yo who asked for a cotton candy machine for Christmas.
