A very fortunate find
Clarifying wine is a pretty complex subject. After reading countless posts and Youtube videos, I settled on this product. It arrived quickly and is a snap to use. I boiled a cup of water and added the powder, mixing it well and waited the required time. That was yesterday afternoon. This morning, you can see the sediment moving down the carboy to the bottom and the wine at the top is almost clear. Wow, that was fast. It's cheap, easy to use, and apparently very effective.

Worked great, far better than the Bitonite I had tried ...
I bought this after trolling some online wine forums. I know some prefer to let wine clear naturally, but sometime I dont have 9 months to let that happen. Worked great, far better than the Bitonite I had tried previously that ended in a caked muddy mess. In any case, Cleared my wine in about 1.5 weeks to crystal clear. Will definitely be using it on my other batches and will buy again.

Works great. Drops a 5 gallon sugar was clear in a day or two. Forms a nice solid yeast cake at the bottom of my carboy.

Clears wine up, depending on fog origin
I have been small batch brewing (1-5 gallons) wine for a couple years now, and I still have plenty of this product left in this bag. It is perfect for clearing wines up, depending on the origin of the fog. If you use pressed or concentrated juiced that don't require boiling, this will be perfect for you. However, if you use ANY form of boiling or use of high heat to produce the wine/beer/etc using fruits or vegies, your fog will most likely be the result of released pectins, and you will need to use 'Pectic Enzyme' to get the pectins to clump up and fall to the bottom of your wine.

Great product.
My first attempt I tried to make one batch for multiple five gallon jugs, but that didn't go so well. Since it has exceeded my expectations allowing my wine to clarify perfectly. I even went back and did some old wine to see how it would do and it clarified that as well. Great product.

I brew a lot of cider. Probably 10 gallons a month during the winter and 5 during the summer. It's my staple drink. This is a lot. I've used it for awhile and it still works really well in a sealed container.

Not LD Carlson as pictured, but prob the same...
Was not LD Carlson as shown in photo... rather "North Mountain". Sure it will work just fine, but this should have been disclosed in some manner such as "Photo for reference only, brand may vary". I select based on LD Carlson usually because I have trusted that brand for decades, and do not like bait and switch ads.
