Awesome but make sure you have compatible cookware!!
I love having this extra stovetop. Keep in mind that not all pots and pans work with it , depending on what your cookware is made of. Aluminum will not work. I have a mixture of cookware but was very pleased that my All-Clad works and my cast iron works. Test your cookware before purchasing by holding a magnet to the bottom. If it doesn’t stick, do not buy this. Great investment!

Temperature settings are vague approximations that vary as you cook
The stovetop is handy for, say, boiling things, or allowing soup to simmer. But if you need to cook at a specific temperature you are out of luck. The numbers shown are just vague approximations. For example, I wanted to heat milk at 180 to prepare to make yogurt. Every so often I was checking the temperature with a digital thermometer. After about 20 minutes the milk was al 200 degrees, way too hot.The heating unit goes on an off while some slow-responding temperature sensor attempts to regulate it. You end up with incredibly inconsistent cooking.

Item looks well made. Glass Top
This induction looks nice. Glass Top. Easy to clean. I ended up returning it, since it makes more noise than my Tim Burton. The Digital read out is below the glass. So you get a pixal looking read out. If you wear glasses, this might get fuzzy looking. The silver sections front and back are Plastic.

Why the stupid flashing light?
So my biggest complaint about this otherwise awesome induction plate is that for some stupid reason, they want you to unplug it after every use... but you cannot do that until it has cooled down and its fan is no longer needed. But in the meantime, there is this STUPID BLINKING LIGHT!!! I hate blinking lights... I mean really hate them... and who in their right mind is going to come back later and unplug this device after they have left the kitchen to go eat their food? You are lucky I go back to put my dishes in the sink at some point, I am certainly not going to remember to unplug this thing, ever... and why would I want to? Then I have to plug it back in before I use it...Otherwise, I absolutely love the settings on this. I love the high power and the top-level temperature.

This does not heat the area indicated on the product.
This is listed as being able to heat 10" cookware and has an area listed on the surface indicating a 10" cooking area, but as soon as you try, you quickly find that only 5" of surface will be heated. It doesn't matter how good the temperature control in that 5" circle is if your pan is 10", this isn't worth buying.I was specifically looking for a product that could heat a 10 inch area, and this is not it. The fact that you can't reliably search by cooking area on Amazon makes searching for Inductive stovetops practically useless.

Perfect addition to my kitchen
This induction cooktop met all my needs after my kitchen cooktop needed repair. It was easy to use, clean and we love it so much that I decided to continue to use even after installing a new top of the line cooktop .

Good
I’ve used this product to cook on the dining table. I used it for hot pot and for searing thinly sliced brisket. For both of these tasks, the cooking power was more than enough.
