These O scale cars are excellent in every way, authentic design, color and function. My collection of these cars is greatly enhanced with each new car that I buy. Lionel is a top producer of these cars, greatly respected and greatly sought after. Highly recommend. They are ready to roll!

A must addition to my Lionel Santa Fe train.

I gave up my massive Lionel collection when we downsized three houses ago. Last year, I invested in the Lionel Texas Special and have enjoyed it so much, that I bought the only other Lionel passenger set: The Super Chief. For both sets, I purchased the add-on baggage cars,, and for the Super Chief, the add-on Vista Dome (what's a Chief without a dome?). What I like about the new Lionel passenger sets are (1.) the sounds (just like the more expensive models), (2.) the diaphragms, and (3.) the interiors. No more silhouettes on the windows is definitely a plus. Lack of passengers is simply a reminder of the sad state of passenger rail in the '60s! Although there are two crewmen in the cab (a harking back to featherbedding!). If you are into electric trains for the fun of it, these cars and sets are well worth the money.

This was a perfect match to my set . The lion chief Santa fa isn’t complete until you add this , the observation car is a great touch to my 36 cure layout . The observation car was like adding salt to a thick steak while riding around my layout. I’d recommend to anyone with a tight space and likes big fun.

Car was new so everything was good. Price still high could have gotten in cheaper on eBay but eBay’s shipping numbers are insane. But overall excellent item

I purchased the basic Santa Fe Super Chief set, and wanted to expand it slightly, so I bought the dome car and the baggage car. These are nice looking cars and have LED lighting so there is no flicker going through switches. You can run it as is, of get some passengers and super glue them in. I expect this will last a long time, and adds a little variety to the basic set.

Good addition to the Lionel Santa Fe passenger car set. Great detailing and lighted interior.

Sleek exterior and an early release having a finished interior with clear windows, seats and lighting. People can easily be added.
