Rocky C4T Military-Inspired Duty Boot is an extremely light performance boot just 15 ounces that's designed for rigorous work. The boot's lightweight EVA/rubber outsole resists anything you can throw at it: slips, oils, heat, abrasions, chemicals and metal chips. Helping you focus on your duty, these are water-resistant and fast-drying black boots. Ventilation holes on the outer sides promote breathability. You have work to do and can't be distracted by wet boots. The Rocky C4T keeps up. These also are comfortable duty boots. The Rocky Air-Port Cushion Footbed is molded from durable PU that will never break down or lose its shape. This footbed circulates air with every step. Lacing may seem minor to some, but it's important when your day consists of tough duty. There's no time to waste and long-lasting laces are a must, so Rocky designed this duty boot with speed eyelets and NATO hooks through which LEO's will pull their 550 cord laces. These boots have a dual-performance material upper with a polish able toe section. The Rocky C4T allows you to move light-footed while providing outstanding support.

Grandma Wears Army Boots!
I'm a 61 year old woman and purchased these military boots for ME. I sprained my right ankle for the third time several months ago, surprised that the half boot I was wearing when I sprained it didn't protect me as I'd hoped. This was the worst sprain I'd endured in my lifetime and I became resolved to find a way to walk on rough paths without fear of that excruciating pain brought on by stepping in a hole and burying my ankle in the dirt!I looked at several different braces, but every single one looked cumbersome and not very protective. My youngest son, who'd been out of the Army only a couple of years, recommended the Rocky Men's Military Boot. The military spends a butt-load of money on research to protect soldiers feet from injury in some of the most adverse conditions. So it seemed right that I needed to take a look at these boots. I, of course, started my search on Amazon and found exactly what my son recommended to me. I found the price to be VERY reasonable, and the boots arrived very quickly. These footwear are not as easy to put on as ANY of my other shoes. The first challenge is to tighten the laces so they secure the foot and ankle, yet allow blood to circulate properly. With a High instep, this can be a real trick. The second challenge is to learn how much to loosen the laces when the day is done and the boots come off, leaving the boots as ready as can be made for the next days wearing. Time and repetition resolved these challenges. This granny is TOTALLY sold on wearing Army boots! I wear them ALL of the time. My feet and ankles feel secure and protected in ways I've never experienced and cannot describe. I purposely walk on uneven, uncultivated earth surfaces because it is my belief that people lose their balance because they do not challenge their balance. They walk on nice even surfaces and their balance slowly erodes until it becomes a dangerous situation. These boots allow me to feel the unevenness of the surface under my feet without pain. Because of the design, the toes are able to splay out flat as nature intended, thus again, improving balance on uneven surfaces. The ankle is fully secured, yet is able to move freely as needed when climbing or moving down a hill.If you want comfort, security and protection all at the same time, I highly recommend these boots, that were recommended to me! And yes, I wear them with a dress. I don't give a rat rip how they look...I care about my feet and ankles getting me through my later years of life!Grandma wears Army Boots!!!UPDATE: December 9, 2020It has been almost 3 years since my purchase of these wonderful boots! The second photo is what they look like as of this writing. These are tough boots, showing very little wear and tear. I am on the fourth set of shoe laces though!Once these boots were fully 'broke in getting them on and off is a breeze. They continue to secure my feet, and especially my ankles!Overall, I am SO impressed with this footwear, I'll never be without a pair!!Grandma STILL wears Army boots!!!

Decent Boots
Decent boots. I need a wide pair of boots and these seemed to be ok. I tried them on and returned them though. They didn't seem like they were going to be very durable. They do look good though.

My Favorite Pair of Boots
This is my 4th time owning these Boots. The 1st time I purchased them was while I was the Army for the Army Combat Uniform (ACU's) in tan of course. Obviously it wasn't authorized because of the material, but God was it night and day difference from the standard issue boots. Once I got out, I became a LEO and had to buy black boots. Naturally since I loved the pair I had in tan, I now purchased them in black for my new uniform. The boots were always comfy, light, and great if you're on your feet all day. But due to the daily wear and tear they wouldn't last no more than maybe 1.5 years. Still for the price it's never been an issue replacing them. I will continue to buy these until they are finally discotinued.

I work at a correctional facility and needed a comfortable pair of boots that could be worn for 8-16 hours. It was a toss up between the Rocky C4T Boots and the Nike Special Field Boots. The C4T boot has a large bottom sole surface area with a superior slip-resistant soles. When comparing the Nike SFB sole I noticed that the sole was made for more of an outdoor type terrain. Not necessary for the multi-level concrete floor facility I work in. The fit of the boots and width was spot on. As usual with Rocky products, little to no break-in period required even with my previous pair of Rocky 10" Paratrooper boots which I took out of the box and wore straight to work the same day. The C4T insole is extremely supportive and comfortable. It feels like a squishy shock absorber with every step.Pros:-Comfortable-Feels and performs like an athletic shoe-Price-Keeps feet drier with vents on both sides of the boot (For those who douse their non-breathing boots in talc powder, little to no powder required)-Quieter footsteps (For those who work nights at correctional facilities)-Arch support (See Cons section)-1 day break-in period (See Cons section)Cons:-As stated above 1 day break-in period. Specifically the heel cups which rubs against the mid to lower portion of your Achilles Tendon-As stated above Arch support. Will be your best friend until you are forced to stand in place for outdoor recreation for 7+ hours. Then you will feel that arch support overdoing its job and begin to uncomfortably push up on your arch.-Water resistant, not water proof. According to the specs on ROCKYBOOTS.com. Due to having vents on both side of the boots, the boots will take on water if you step in a puddle or if inmates decide to flood their housing units (Hopefully you won't experience the latter)This review is based on my experiences with the Rocky C4T boots at a correctional facility. I realize that not everyone will be using these boots for the same type of work and everyone has different podiatry anatomy. For reference I am 6'3" 240lbs, I use a boot of medium width and I have high arches.
