Being Jewish, I use it when needing cracker meal or bread crumbs, as I always add my own spices to my cooking.

Good value; stocked up; always a good meal. You can store the product also. A favorite fooddepending how you make it.

Excellent value. Individual canisters in a grocery store are much more expensive, when you can find them! Now I’m always ready to make matzo ball soup!

If you haven't used MANISCHEWITZ Matzo Meal, you have to try this. You don't have to be Jewish to enjoy a good meal (breadcrumbs).Learn to make "GOOD" Matzo Ball soup and you will get hooked like I did, they are also great for meatballs & meatloaf.I can find MANISCHEWITZ Matzo Meal in the Newport Beach/Costa Mesa area, but it is hit & miss and sometimes treated with gourmet pricing.So when I do find it I like to buy at least 12 canisters. I found these at Amazon with free shipping for over $25 and it was a no-brainer,I ordered 3 (4-packs) and now have my 2011 supply and I didn't have to shlep around town getting them. The price was right and delivered in about a week,although this listing says a month or two oy-vey!NOTE: I just read on one of the MANISCHEWITZ Matzo Meal listings, if you subscribe to an order, they will deliver prescheduled amounts throughout the year!

Makes perfect matzo ball soup! Works better than processing my own matzo since it is really fine.I add to 3/4 cup of matzo meal, 3 eggs, a teaspoon of baking powder, a teaspoon of oil, a dash of salt. Sir well and rest in fridge for an hour. Shape balls and simmer in broth for an hour. Add carrots, celery and onions. So delicious!

the packaging wasn't very good: one canister arrived cockeyed and bent

Ordered several times. Fresh product each time. We use this product year-round and are happy that it's offered online, as it's difficult to file locally. Pack of four lasts for months in our household and the last can tastes as good as the first. The cans are sealed better than boxes that are used with other brands of matzo meal - which may be contributing to the lasting freshness.

Since my local supermarkets in Port Angeles don't carry any brand of matzo meal I decided to try the Amazon way & will start getting the 4 pack delivered on a regular basis with the subscribe & save plan. This is great for making latkus for breakfast. Just mix with eggo or eggs, vanilla, water & onion powder, fry with olive oil, spread some cinnamon on top & you've got a terrific breakfast!
