elago Aluminum Wall Plate Cover Compatible with Nest Learning Thermostat 1st, 2nd, 3rd generation and Nest Thermostat E (Black)

Purchased the bronze version to compliment the copper version of the nest thermostat and it matches perfectly. See my photos for what I mean.So I wanted to fit my nest over an old UK one gang wall box and the nest itself would leave gaps around the four corners and the included nest white cover plate is terrible quality and makes it look like a bodge job.This plate however is perfect. Strong and elegant and well made I’m pleased with the quality and final look even at the price of £20 paid.The four holes are the same size as the electrical screw holders in the wall box so it was a case of removing old wall plate. Getting the nest mount and this back plate and putting the two screws back into the wall box fittings. No extra work needed. There is a little play with the holes to allow for extra precise adjustment and once tight, no one will ever know what is behind. Absolutely perfect!

I was worried that this might just be a plate someone had cut in their garage to sell to people who spend near £200 on a thermostat. Luckily I was wrong and it's actually a lot nicer than I expected. It comes in a nice box to start with which meant to me that they probably actually care about the quality of the product and secondly it's been manufactured well too. For the £18 I paid it's not cheap but then I wouldn't really say it's crazy expensive either. It looks a lot better than the plastic back plate so I'm really happy.

Bought this on a bit of a whim as I figured there would be a large hole where the previous thermostat was, I knew a plastic cover comes with the Nest but it looks just that, cheap and plastic.Decided to get this and its transformed the look of the Nest, its covered the hole perfectly and is nice and flush to the wall, so glad I got it, highly recommend.

Very impressed with this product. The satin finish looks and feels great, and the surface does not easily show up finger prints. The edges are nice and smooth and for something so simple, it appears a lot of thought has gone in to compliment the product it's designed to accompany.

Nice finishing touch for Nest thermostat, looks stylish

The plate was easy to install for a 3rd gen Nest, the product sat flush against the wall and just required removing the backplate of the nest and reconnecting the wires. Quality and finish of the product is excellent and would recommend to anyone who was unhappy with the original supplied nest back plate.

Looks very sharp with the copper Nest Thermostat. High quality anodized aluminum which looks much more premium and attractive compared to the white plastic base plate provided by Google. Everyone comments on how good it looks. Also extremely easy to install. Absolutely nothing to dislike.

Very useful, I do not have to worry about adjusting the temperature, or also, it is very easy to manage from the application
