Has anyone used this long term on painted surfaces? Does it damage the paint?

I have neither seen or read of damage to firearm surfaces caused by this product. These surfaces do not have traditional paint as a coating. That is my only application of this product.

If a spark or open flame were to touch an applicated area, would that ignite the lubricant?
