We like to have some children’s craft activities around for the Christmas holiday season, when the weather is not great for them to play outside all the time. Luckily they love cooking. So rather than ordering a pre-fab ginger bread house - that usually arrives in pieces even when you buy it in the shops, I was looking for ginger bread house construction set. This friendly priced 10-piece set, not too small, looked complete with door, chimney parts and windows parts. The cutters are made of stainless steel that is durable and sturdy. I’ve looked up a gingerbread recipe online. We’ve also started to buy christmassy cake decorations in the high street discount shops, like red and green M&M’s/jelly beans, icing ect. I’m just a bit wary about the construction of the house, I reckon we will need a copious amount of icing to glue the walls and roof parts together and wonder for how long we will need to support each commendation before it holds. For this reason parential assistance is required when handing this as a project to children.Either way the children will have a good time creating and decorating their houses. In fact, we may join them as well. So I’ make enough gingerbread dough to create 4 or 5 houses. The set comes in a story storage box, so that we can pack it along with our Christmas decoration and use it again next year.

Smaller than expected but made a lovely gingerbread house that we enjoyed for Christmas.

Wanted something ‘different’ for my Xmas cake this year and saw an idea whereby you put gingerbread Xmas House on top of cake. Gingerbread freezes well ( un-decorated) so I thought these cutters were ideal. Perfect for what I wanted. Swift delivery. Well packaged.

Bent out of shape in box. Very flimsy.

Not happy at all, after waiting for ever for this to arrive it came all bent and not straight... not even worth it....so disappointed... went straight into the bin.Please don’t waste your money
