DICKIE TOYS 12" Light and Sound SOS Fire Engine Vehicle (with Working Pump), Red

My son absolutely loves fire trucks at his current age of two and I was shopping around for a firetruck for Christmas and I stumbled across this gem. I had seen all the run of the mill annoying noise maker ones but when I saw this I instantly knew he'd love it. I can't describe his face when he saw it shoot water out! It blew his mind! It's well made and very sturdy along with the plastic tubing for the water hose. He's constantly biting and pulling it and it's survived almost 2 months now without any damage. The funny thing to is I didn't know is that my son had been watching German fire fighters on YouTube so he knew exactly what it was and recognized the configuration of the fire engine and knew the sounds it made. His just sits in front of our fireplace shooting water at the flames. Definitely a 5 star product.

Santa brought this toy for my fire truck obsessed 4yo. It's a hit! He loves how the ladder extends/retracts and spins. The sirens and sounds aren't too loud or obnoxious, but still lots enough to be entertaining for him. The hose actually pumps out water, so my house plants are getting a spritz every day. The reservoir is a bit difficult to fill as mentioned in other reviews, but in my opinion it's not worthy of docking a star. And so far it's holding up. My kid is usually very tough on his toys, and cheaply-made toys break easily. But even with daily play this truck is still in great shape, rescuing house plants across the land.Honestly, Santa knocked it out of the park with this one. Thanks Big Guy!

This is a god truck and the kid likes it. He is 3. The main problem though is the button to get the hose to squirt water is too hard from him to press. He can go it once or twice, but you have to press it 10 times to get the water to come out.

My son (almost 3 years old), loves fire trucks, and got him this one. It's the perfect size for him, he can carry it without problems. There are no sharp or pointy edges that could hurt him. The stairs can swivel and extend, and it can shoot water to more than 5 meters away. I'm glad he's still too young to fill up the water tank, or he'd shoot indoors all day, and ruin our electronic devices. It has two different kind of siren sounds. My son hasn't put it down since we got it. My son recommends this product. :-D

My 2 year old son loves his truck. Unfortunately the water does not pump out of the hose. We filled it with water and pumped and nothing came out. Other than that the sounds of the truck work and the ladder goes up and down manually

11/'21-still the first to be picked daily by my kid. He can play with alone for hours. So chaning to five stars.Pros: definite hit for any toddler who loves firetrucks. Siren, water spray, extended ladder.Cons: does not go far even when it is pulled back. Ladder is delicate to handle.

I must say that at the price I am amazed at the durability.....I bought this toy for my 3yr old son for Xmas and he was so thankful for it he played with it everyday since..and started to explore the different features...he took the truck into the bath and put it in the tub of water I was upset I thought for sure it was finished (the sound effects) but I left it to dry for two days and now the sound is back...plus every way he goes and a boy is around the child wants the fire truck

The package arrived two days later than promised which was less than ideal since it was a gift. The child was initially thrilled about it but disappointed right after when not all the lights would light up and part of the ladder broke within 24 hours. If the box wasn't destroyed when opening the gift I'd have returned it. Not worth the money.
