Nupur Henna - Goodness of 9 Herbs - 1000 Grams

Wonderful, very inexpensive hair coloring!!! Beautiful color that looks very natural and is actually good for your hair and health! I get compliments all the time from total strangers. I mix 6 tbls. in 1/2 cup + 2 tbls. of warm water, in a glass dish and let set for 1 - 2 hours. Then I use a funnel to transfer to a hair color applicator and apply. I put a plastic bag over my head and then cover all with a knit cap and wait 3 hrs before rinsing out. I then apply a good conditioner, leave on 2 min and rinse thoroughly. Results are fantastic!!!

This works great. I mix mine with strong coffee instead of water. And add in olive, argan, amla, castor or whichever oil/oil mix I want or need. Always put a shower cap on or a plastic bag like I do and then I wear a binnie on top to keep it warm and moist. Do not put Henna on your hair and leave it uncovered, it will dry up and harden therefore it'll get stuck to your hair/head as clay. And even after you get your hair in the shower it won't soften easily and it's a quiet tedious and painful process. I should know, happened to me the first time I used (pure) henna. No body said that henna alone dries your hair and therefore it get tangled amd if left uncovered it will air dry and become hard as clay on your head and there I was like "meh no biggie, I'll just soak my head and it will soften" boy was I wrong... so back to this products review. It works strengthens your hair so it feels thicker, it gets shiny, soft and in my case I get more volume on my wavy hair. Remember to add a little oil and cover your head.

It left my hair with a red orange tone, I thought the 9 herbs were for shiny and soft hair only, but I ended just accepting the results, it looks natural reddish on my brown dark copper hair so not to bad, this doesn’t have 100 % henna that’s why will not be to strong. Also the color seems less strong after 3 weeks. The only thing than I was concert is the amount of hair that I loose when I was raising the product, but I was having some issues before so not sure if was the product. My hair seems more strong now than I’m taking some herbs supplements like Ashwaganda, foti and licorice root twice per day, plus holy basil to improve sleeping. So I will try it again just like a natural hair color to cover the roots and check againg the falling hair problem.

THIS WILL DYE YOUR HAIR. If you use Henna this is a great option. It has henna in it as well as the blend for healthy hair and scalp. Use it just like henna for hair. Powder is super fine, doesn't clog the drain. Hair is healthier and color will deepen the more you use it. Color will "settle" after a few days to be slightly darker but just like henna be prepared for reddish copper tones. I use it with intention to Color so I let it activate with warm water and apple vinegar and leave it on for several hours like henna. It also has the frozen pea/wet dog smell of henna so you might want to add a scent to your mix. Great product for the price.
