A: It might void your warranty, ask the manufacturer of your chain saw, ha.

**Q: why not make a glove that will STOP the chain ?**
A: That's kind of the point: the chain will rip through just about anything (or if it can't, it'll launch itself into your face); these kinds of gloves are designed to tear apart in long fiber strands, which get sucked into the mechanism and jam up the gears.  The blade then stops.  Then you disassemble your chainsaw and untangle the gears (and get new gloves).

**Q: What's the difference between this and husqvarna's 'technical saw protective gloves'?**
A: Technical sawprotectionnglow is rated for 20ms chainsaw while this one I also have rated for 16ms chainsaw protection.means of your chainsaw speed is faster then 16ms you should get the technical chainsaw gloves also protective glove is only on left hand where you hold the chainsaw. Right hand that pulls the gas trigger dont have any chainsaw protection
