Best ribs I've ever had. Simply outstanding Pressure Cooker!
The media could not be loaded. I never used a pressure cooker before. Holy cow - this made the best ribs I've ever had (at home). I've always wondered how a restaurant made ribs that fall off the bone. This made a full rack in 35 minutes, and you can see from the pictures - the ribs fell right off the bone. Because this is a pressure cooker, the meat is juicy, and coupled with your favorite BBQ sauce (Saltlick for me), this was a hit on Super Bowl Sunday! The Pressure Cooker is solidly built, the top locks for safety and the screen is bright. Plus, it's super easy to use. You spin the dial to whatever you have in there (rice, meat, etc.) and it just works. Super easy to use with lots of safety features built in (cover lock, steam release, etc.). Highly recommended. You won't be disappointed and you'll take me later! Check the pics to see how it turned out!

Efficient & Delicious
Since using the Gourmia pressure cooker, making well thought out home-cooked meals have been so much easier! I've made beans, stew, and chicken for the week. Prepping was super easy - I just threw the ingredients and desired sauces/seasonings in the pot, turned it on, and I was all set! Compared to cooking in a pot on the stove, I have way less to prep before cooking, don’t need to keep checking on my food, and have way less dishes to worry about afterwards. Plus, I’m not kidding when I say that all my meals have tasted better than usual - especially meat. Considering how much time this has saved me, how easy it is to throw everything together, and how delicious the meals become, I think I'll be using this pressure cooker every week to meal prep from now on!

Cooking Workhorse
No one pays me to review this item. It is my person review of this item. This is a good electric pressure cooker. I had my first electric pressure cooker (Instant pot) about 5 years ago and I had a lot of fun with it.The high-end units (All-clad, Breville, Instant Pot Max) give you the more freedom to choose the psi per your own liking. I personally bought the Breville version and I liked it, but I had to return it after a few days because I feel the teflon coating will chip off eventually. If you are looking into Breville and All-clad, please note that the inner pot is teflon coated.I think for the most majority, the model that you see in the store (walmart, bestbuy) is actually good enough for 90% of all the consumers. If you falls in to the 90% of the population (because you don't learn to cook new dish every week..well most of us), then picking a pressure cooker comes to a few criteria1. Easy to clean2. Good construction that lasts a long time3. Easy to use4. Aesthetic5. PriceThis Gourmia GPC965 checks many boxes but also has it flaws.1. Easy to clean : the inner pot is stainless steel and is actually pretty easy to clean. If unfortunately, there is anything stuck at the bottom due to overheating, just soak it with water and they usually come off pretty easy for me.2. Construction : It is fairly well constructed. I would wish the knot is a bit more sturdy. However, I have used Breville 200+ version of pressure cooker, and I was also not blown away by the knot construction of it. Comparing this to Breville, I would say this Gourmia has a little more plastic to it but it still looks great. But if you take out the plastic part of it, this Gourmia is just as well constructed as Breville. For all other pressure cooker out there, I think it is on par with most pressure cooker out there at this price range, if not better. Most pressure cookers out there at this price range have this thin plastic film covering its button. I have used enough small appliances to know that the thin plastic film will wear out a lot faster than knot or raised, normal button. Even though most knots or raised button out there are still made of plastic, it is still better than buttons cover with thin film. If you pay attention to Instant Pot, you will see most of their models come with thin film over the buttons. Another thing to note is that the inner pot is stainless steel. It will last longer than Teflon coated inner pot (for example, Breville). I believe all Instant Pot inner pots are stainless steel, so this Gourmia is just as good as the Instant Pot when it comes to inner pot.3. Easy to use: this is really just personal preference and we all know, even if it is different from what you are used to before, you use it for a few times and you will get used to it. My opinion on this Gourmia is that it is very straightforward and is easy to get used to. That being said, I have not encountered any small appliances that are so hard to use...unless all the buttons, knots, or menu are in a different language that I just don't understand. One thing to note is that this unit has a short cord. Bear in mind if this will bother you. MAJOR PLUS : this unit has button to push to release steam and not many pressure cookers around this price range has this function. This function will come very handy when you don't want to wait for long time to open the lid or you don't want to manually monkey with the pressure knot on the top of the lid.4. Aesthetic: When you look out there, the best looking pressure cookers out there, in my opinion, is All-clad, then Breville, then Instant pot max. And if you have done your research, they are all in 200+ range. I set out to find one that has the most knots, most steel around the construction and most LCD screen. This Gourmia is what I find. To tell it apart from the rest of the pressure cooker, just look at the lid of Gourmia as it is wrapped with metal layer (if not metal, at least it is shiny)5. Value: it is not the cheapest pressure cooker out there, nor is the most expensive. I feel it is a price that is acceptable to most people. Comparing all the pressure cookers around this price range, this Gourmia is the best looking and with most functions. With knots, actual button, and stainless steel inner pot, this Gourmia should last quite a while.

Better than instant pot
So far is working very well. Thank goodness I did not get the burn messages anymore and can finish a whole meal without removing all the contents several times to stir the bottom. I also like the way the lid stores upside down to keep it aired out. It fits perfectly inside the inner pot for storage without a big loop handle Making the lid set tilted. It is also one of the few that I could find that have a stainless steel inner pot. Have issues with it however. Cord is un functionally short, 2 ft. Thus can’t be used far away from upper cabinets and blows greasy steam all over windows, curtains and cabinets if u don’t turn off the auto release. It is very difficult to change the time and pressure if u want to do it manually. Does not work as it said to adjust Time and pressure. I think I will send it back and get one easier to use..Zavor maybe rec by ATK.

So easy
This kitchen gadget is fast and easy to use! Has a removable pot for easy clean up. I've had no issues with it not wanting to hold pressure or not starting when it should. The pressure is released throughout the cooking process for even psi control
