I love this chair in my guest bedroom. When the guests have left, I bring it back out to living room. Fairly easy to assemble.

Perfect for small spaces
I love this chair! I didn’t really care for the curvature of the back legs…at first….but now, I see that it adds to the uniqueness of the design. I wanted a different view when I entered the kitchen from the garage. The area is actually a breakfast area/laundry room combination. As you can see from the first photo, the view was not welcoming and definitely lacked the ‘wow’ factor. So I moved some things around and purchased this chair to ‘seal the deal’.It does require assembly and the instructions say two people are needed. I suppose you will need two people if you don’t have 30 minutes to invest, which is how long it took me (ALONE) from the time I dropped that first screw, until I placed the finished product in its final resting place. It was hilarious! I’d pulled out my tool bag and laid everything out on the living room floor: hammer, Phillips screwdriver, wood nails, etc. DIDN’T NEED ANY OF THAT!! Allen wrench and screws were already provided and that was ALL that I needed.****VERY IMPORTANT!*****The screws are grouped together by a rubber band. If you pull those out carefully as grouped, all you need to do is drop each set (bolt, nut, washer) in the specified slot. So happy with it that I really want to purchase another with a different pattern for another room in my home! It took me longer to write this review than to complete the assembly.😂

Nice chair for the price, but hard to assemble--needs adjustment
The chair arrived yesterday and looks nice enough when assembled--just as in the picture on the website. Have no experience as to wear or sturdiness, so I'm basing the review on initial observations. The problem is that the assembly process turned out to be difficult. Theoretically this involved putting in 12 bolts though pre-drilled holes (2 for each leg) and four more to connect the back to the seat, using a provided Alan wrench. In practice it was difficult. Aligning the holes in the legs and back with the metal sleeves where you could screw in the bolts was a little tricky, but manageable. But then screwing down the bolts was time-consuming and tedious, because most of the holes were close to a barrier, so you kept having to remove and re-set the Alan wrench every half turn or so, and there were about 20 turns per bolt. A ratchet wrench was really needed and it would have saved a lot of time if they had included one of those. But that was only the beginning. The instructions say that you shouldn't screw down the bolts for the legs completely until the chair is assembled and you can set it on the floor and adjust the height of the legs so that the chair its level on the ground. This makes sense, except for two things: First, the legs have virtually no play since the bolts holding them are going through a hole, so it's impossible to move them up or down more than 1/8", if that. But, second, and worse, you can't screw down the back legs at all after the chair is assembled because they are part of the back assembly, and once you screw the back to the seat, you can't reach the bolts to tighten them. So you pretty much have to batten down the back legs before you assemble the chair, which is what I did. When I got done and put the chair on the ground, it looked like the front left leg was about half an inch short. I tried adjusting it as much as I could, but there was very little play. Do as I will, either the left front leg was too short or the front right leg was too long.I worked on it for a couple of hours and what I finally had to do is to take off the front right leg and drill out the holes to make them into a slot, so that leg could move up and down. This worked, and it had the added benefit that the chair seat now rested on the shoulder provided by the leg, whereas previously there was a gap. However, the left leg still has a gap. It's hard to explain this, so I'm including pictures. The one without the gap is the one I adjusted. Prior to my adjustment, it had a gap even bigger than you see on the other one. This is not an expensive chair so I can't complain too much about the fact that everything isn't flush. But they really could improve the product if they actually allowed some play in the legs so they could be adjusted up or down for levelling--of if they cut them more precisely so this wouldn't be necessary. A ratchet wrench--even a very cheap one--would also be very helpful.

TREMENDOUS VALUE
Sturdy, colorful and comfortable. For under $120 you cannot beat this deal. Using as a side chair in a back room that leads to my backyard. Super simple to put together as well. I would definitely buy again.

Really short Chair but still works.
The chair is super cute. Colors are perfect for where I want to put it. The legs on this chair are really short, about 2-3 inches shorter than my couch. I was very concerned about this but decided to keep it anyway. It looks really cute in my office and surprisingly everyone that has sat on it said it was very comfortable. It’s a very firm chair so you don’t sink down in it and then have trouble getting up. So all in all I love the chair. But just beware that it’s very light weight (not a problem for me) and very short. But it does seem to work well.

A comfortable, colourful chair.
I bought this chair as a discounted item, probably returned because the colour is not the same as the picture online. To me it doesn't matter because I like this colour, it's more teal, sage green, black & gray. Very comfortable, beautiful quality fabric, would go in modern or mid-century modern style home. I love this chair for doing needlework because it has no arms to get in the way. Don't be afraid to buy discounted furniture on Amazon, this chair was in excellent, new condition.

Very dissatisfied. Don't buy this Ashley line of furniture.
Chair was made in Vietnam. Took over a month to be delivered via US & Canada. Very sloppy, pathetic workmanship. Seam stitching on seat arrived unravelled in a # of places. 2 sets of bolt holes on the chair seat & back did not line up. Allan wrench provided to install bolts & bolt heads got chewed up when they wouldn't line up with the holes. Spent frustrating hours struggling to get this piece of junk put together. Would dearly love to return this chair but it's just too much trouble. Would never buy this Ashley line again.
