I'm looking for something for my reception.** A: Haven't gotten mine yet, but from the video I just saw from another buyer, it's looks like it's decent for a dark normal bedroom sized room, so I'm guessing one of these would not have the full effect you are looking for in a wedding reception hall. A few might do the job, or maybe look for some outside the home lighting/laser projectors for lighting up the front of your house. I bring one I have inside and I have no doubt it would project the red and green laser like lights throughout a reception area. **Q: In a 12X14 bedroom with 10' ceilings, will this actually project onto the ceiling and walls in a way you can see the stars in detail?or are they fuzzy** A: I am using this in a small room (11x11 with 8 foot ceilings). The projection is groovy, cool, cosmic, and fun. It is not very sharp, but that misses the point (in my opinion).
