It's alright but it doesn't live up to memory/expectations

Haven't we all encountered this phenomenon?You remember having an experience when you were a child, especially with food.You buy that food item again, hoping to experience the very same thing again and are disappointed?Yeah. That happened with this. I'd read on another review that this was pretty close to a 1:1 replacement for the A&W season salt. The problem though, is me, not the food item -- my expectations.I can taste that it wants to taste as good as it was when I was a kid -- thin, like butter spread over too much bread -- but my palate has changed over the 3-4 decades since I had A&W fries with their season salt. It could be the proportions of the ingredients that make it taste like The Ghost of A&W Season Salt. I don't know.The season salt itself is pretty good on other things other than fries. Heck, it's decent on the fries as well. The memory of the original A&W season salt is just too overblown to match with this product.If you're here to buy it because it's like A&W season salt, temper those expectations with "it might not be" for you.
