promises fun from a reliable game publisher
I am saving this as a gift to myself for Christmas. I'm sure it will be fun, and there's actually 2 games included in this box. I have other games from this publisher, and they are of good quality. I expect the same from Take 5. I watched videos and read reviews before purchasing. It looks easy to learn and good for a group.

Fun and exciting | Better than No Thanks, The Mind, etc. | Requires luck and strategy | Easy, fast
It is really confusing to me that games like No Thanks, The Mind, Point Salad, For Sale, Uno, etc. always get more love and always get recommended more than this game (I never saw this game got recommended), when this is clearly the better and more fun game! I knew those other games before and yes they are fun, then my friend casually just introduced this game to me, and all I can think about while playing is that I can already throw away my copy of No Thanks. I'm really sad for the people (like me before) who isn't aware that this game exists, and this is way better than No Thanks!Pros- Fun and exciting to play! That feeling where you know you are playing a bad card for the current round but hopes that another player plays a worse card than you. Also, those sudden changes which suddenly disrupts your expectations of what will happen really makes the game exciting at every moment.- A party game! But don't underestimate, this can be played by anyone, whether a beginner in gaming or a war gamer. Because this is a rare party game that involves both extreme luck and extreme strategy!- Very strategic. Yes this game involves a lot of luck, but also strategy. You wouldn't win here with just luck.- Easy to learn- Fast to playCons- No miniatures. Just joking! No cons, this game is flawless!

Love Take 5!
Such a fun game! It’s easy to learn, but there’s enough strategy (and a little bit of gambling) to keep it interesting. We’ve had a blast playing it with the family, and it’s become a go-to for game night. It’s a solid mix of classic card game fun and quick thinking. Definitely a win for anyone who likes a game that’s simple but still keeps you on your toes. Highly recommend if you need a new family favorite!

Easy to learn and very fun to play
This is such a fun game. It's a great game to play where you may have a few people who don't play games very often, because it is so easy to learn.. which allows you spend more time playing the game instead of learning how to play. It's great to have the cards in a box that has a lid that lifts off instead of in a box that you open like a deck of cards. The cards are well made and are pretty thick. We played this with my family and by the time we were done all my married kids had already added it to their wish-list waiting for Amazon day :) The game says 8+, but if you have a 6yr who loves math and numbers, they would enjoy this game. we played a few variations - the normal lowest points win. Highest points possible, and one that was random ciaos (don't look at your deck, just flop the top card on the table). we had a lot of laughs. Can't wait to play again.

Still fun even though my brother in law always wins
This is a simple and easy to learn game that's incredibly fun.- The objective is to collect the fewest "bulls" over the course of the game. The game includes a deck of cards from 1-104 (each card has a different number of bulls not related to the actual number on the card).- Each player is dealt 10 cards and each round begins with 4 cards placed face-up in the middle of the table.- Each turn, a player will submit a card; once every player has chosen, the cards will be revealed.- The player who submits the lowest card will "start" the turn and add their card to a row in the middle of the table. You always add cards to the next lowest pile.- The turn then proceeds clockwise with each player adding their respective card to the pile.- If a player adds the 6th card to a row, they are required to take all the cards before and are stuck with any bulls.PROS:1. The game is really easy to learn, but involves a fair degree of strategy.2. It seats up to 10 people.3. Really easy setup and does not take a lot of space. Would be great for travel.CONS:1. My brother in law always wins. I hate that. Even when I try to screw him up, my wife gets in the way. Annoys me like nothing else. UGH.

The best "warm up" game out there
I have been playing 6 Nimmt (Take 5) for 25 years. This is my third deck, my previous two either got worn out or I lost cards. It is a great, super fun game, perfect when you are just starting (or ending) your game night and are looking for something quick, light, and fun. And, unlike many games, the MORE people you have playing the funner the game gets. Take 5 with the full 10 players is super fun (people start taking points in the first round!).It is also great because the rules take 5 minutes to teach, and everyone can play it.The ONLY frustration I have ever heard around the game is that there is no "winning" strategy. There is a lot of luck in terms of what cards you have and what numbers come out. But, otherwise, the strategy is not to do anything really stupid. E.g. don't play a card that you KNOW will take a row. You can try strategies like 'card counting', and they can help (e.g. "I know he the 62 was played, so I can play the 63 on the 61 and be safe), but it often works out that other player's actions completely mess up your strategy ("he took the row with the 61... now I have to play the 6th card on this row!").A MUST for anyone's games collection.

Fun but a bit flimsy
First off there are 2 games in the set. I've only played take 5 as that is why I bought the set. So there is good value in this purchase there. However, the cards are thin and flimsy and therefore hard to shuffle and play with. I also wish there would have been a guide mat for where to place the cards. It worked out okay because I've played before but I think it would take a bit for a new player to get it. It is a long game but super fun.

Great game for family gatherings
Really fun game for a group. Especially funny with more than 4 players where it becomes less predictable. We liked both games
