Sturdy
This lock is very sturdy, no excess play after installation. Installation instructions were very clear on how to change the handle position.

Very Sturdy Lever Door Handle
Good bright brass, locking feature is good for a door leading into the garage. Also is adjustable for door thickness - ours is a 1 3/4 solid wood fire door. Works smoothly. A bit tricky to install; things have to line up just right. However, it went in exactly where the old door knob was - basically an exact fit. It is a bit pricey, but worth it as it seems to be a door handle that should last many years

Watch out for the keyway if changing handle styles.
I replaced a Schlage round knob (10 years old?), same finish, with this Schlage lever handle. Great handle, works perfectly, but ran into one issue not anticipated. From what I read, I should have been able to simply removed the keyway from the old handle and use it in the new handle to use the same key. Alas, it was too short!!! Still a 5 cylinder keyway but there is an extension on this keyway to mesh with the new mechanism. The extension was permanently attached to the keyway. I ended up moving the pins from the old keyway into the new one. Not hard to do with some experience or a youtube video. Now the new lever handle works great.

I’m a locksmith that replaced this for a customer
The product was an exact match to the other levers and brand all ready on the house. The customer had me installing this on a closet door to prevent unwanted entry or snooping by individuals. Well made, heavy feel, easy use, uncomplicated install. Pretty lines and design. Nice for my side door where I may want to use my elbow to open when carrying things.

Key lock does not work.
The key would not unlock the handle. If the button is locked on the inside, the key will not unlock the button. This is one cheap ass locking system.
