Perfect Fitment & Peace of Mind – Must-Have Upgrade for Lifted ZJs
Just installed the Rough Country Adjustable Rear Track Bar on my 1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee running a 4” Rough Country X-Series Lift Kit — and I couldn’t be more satisfied.Fitment was dead-on, and the adjustability made it super easy to get my axle centered again after months of fighting an offset rear. I also ditched the factory bolts and swapped in Region Offroad hardware, which seriously tightened up the whole rear end setup.The OEM track bar had too much slop and sketchy angles with the lift — this new setup not only fixed the stance but finally gave me the solid, planted feel I’ve been chasing. No more wiggle at highway speed, no more axle shift over bumps. Rear is officially dialed in and locked down.If you’re running a lift on your ZJ, this is mandatory. Don’t cheap out — just grab the bar, upgrade the bolts, and feel the difference.

Not generally a rough country fan but this part is super beefy and is easy to put in. Was surprised in its quality

It was definitely easy to install
Easy to install, removing the original equipment track bar is a totally different story. This went on a '97 Jeep Grand Cherokee that spent most of its life in New Jersey...with that said, I had to battle rusted, frozen bolts. Not an easy task from a driveway.
