Ok, So.. I will not be comparing these colored pencils to any other colored pencils, because i believe that every art supply has its own identity and feel, and its up to the artist to decide if its worth what they paid. I bought the 24 set for $2.78 cents, plus tax i think it brought me to $3.24 , and of course free shipping and handling due to my husbands prime account. Now. I do have a few other sets that i use. all of which are mediocre but makes me happy. These are really really nice pencils, The colors are vibrant, The pencils are super light in my hand but feels sturdy to use, i do not feel like i have to be super careful due to lead loss, which is a plus! They were actually fun to use which is a huge break from trying to learn how to blend and deal with other lead that breaks every few strokes or is so crumby that you end up destroying your work. They are super comfortable in your hand, light, and sits perfectly without causing cramped fingers or hands. I highly recommend these to ANYONE Beginner OR artists if they need a great pencil! Once i get a chance i want to purcase the whole 72 set. And now.. im online looking to see what other Amazon Basics they have available! ( Shipping was fast and effeciant, the pencils came in a hard cardboard box, bubble wrap, and protective metal tin.. they arrived on time and in perfect condition!)

When I saw these, I immediately grabbed them because they were on a great deal. I purchased three and I would’ve purchased more if they didn’t have. A limit. I am a retired teacher so I know color pencils very well and I know when I see a good deal to grab it. I have them for my grandchildren.The pencils come in a very pretty tin so it is worth giving as a gift and they are easy to store ,unlike a box that breaks or rips. . The colors are very pretty and they are of decent quality. I will purchases again when I see them on a good deal. They are just as good as the ones that are much more money and again because the box is not a paper box, but a tin to store them, it gets extra points!

The media could not be loaded. These Pencils Changed My Life (No, Really, My bed has become my "Art" space every night! Lol)I bought this set of colored pencils with high hopes and even higher artistic aspirations. I envisioned myself creating masterpieces, perhaps a stunning landscape or a soulful portrait. What I actually created was a vibrant, abstract interpretation of "toddler in a sugar rush" all over the page of my Footprints in the Sand coloring book ... Supposedly for adults. I'm beginning to think maybe coloring is not my forte ... hahaha!But hey, these pencils glide smoother than a politician on ice, and the colors are so vivid, they practically scream, "I regret nothing!" My cat patiently sitting watching me make a fool of myself trying to still color between the black lines on a coloring page and keeping his eyes on my hand ready to attack it like it's a wild piece of meat in the jungle screaming eat me.Apparently, these pencils are not just for paper; they're an immersive, multi-surface experience. I keep envisioning this artistic side of me that wants to come out and draw a huge mural on my bathroom wall LolThe ergonomic design is fantastic, perfect for tiny hands (and clumsy adult ones). And the lead is surprisingly resilient, standing up to the kind of pressure only a determined 3-year-old can apply. They blend beautifully, which is great, because now the various shades of "oops" on my paper are seamlessly integrated. I'm sure that even a kindergartener would notice my ugly color job!My only complaint? They don't come with a tiny, magical cleaning crew. Ugggh I'm also beginning to think I need readers to see between the lines!Five stars for the pencils, zero stars for my coloring talent. If you're looking for an adventure, or just have a lot of empty pages in a coloring book to create masterpieces, then these are the pencils for you!I have stopped coloring my page as I'm disappointed that I color no better than a five year old but it was fun to get the pencil set for under 3 bucks and have a go at some really tiny spaces on a book page... Lol!

This was my 4th time buying these colored pencils. The quality of these are excellent. The colors are vivid as preferred. They aren't so soft they wear down easily. The addition of the metal flat tin these colored pencils are in push this set far ahead of others comparable in price. Buy them. When they go on sale again gor half off durjng the Prime sales buy them again. Kids love colored pencils. These are nice enough to give as gifts. Add a sketch pad and a birthday card. Economical gift and happy kiddo.

The colors are nice. I felt I had to go over a few times to saturate the toothy paper I was using. The pallet is basic colors so you have to be good with that. I would like to see a silver and gold added and remove the Jade which is just a green-blue version. It is a good set to carry with a coloring book on the go if that is what you do. If you want more colors then buy something like Cra Z Art but I thought that might be too many if you were giving them to a child, which I was. If you are just a coloring book hobbiest then these are good since they are not open stock. If you are fussy about your colors or save your artwork, buy open stock pencils.

I love these color pencils. The first picture was done with these and so smooth, you can barely see the indent on the other page the flowers were with my old color pencils and I dont know if you can tell but it pops up on the opposite side of the page. I love these to color in my promise bible ❤️
