Westco Medium Guiro Musical Instrument Toy

This instrument has a good sound and seem quite durable so I'm giving it 5 stars. However, I immediately replaced the stick it came from with a larger stick. This one is very small and pointy and seems like it could be potentially dangerous depending on the child who is using it.

Does exactly what I expected from a ribbed block. Not too small (in my opinion) and adds a distinct flavor to audio recordings. Great value with a traditional design.

This item, though it was as advertised, was smaller and quieter than I expected and needed. I will need to keep looking in order to find a larger and louder instrument.

Nice sound . Great Price. I like the sound better than the plastic ones. The wood is a little more fragile , but there are always trade offs.

Meh, makes an ok sound, paint looks nice, but wow, super thin wood and just feels so fragile, doesn't store easily, nowhere for stick to go - just a so-so item. Probably would not buy again, BUT, it isn't horrible and the price point is about right for what you get.

Very pretty. It is a gift for a young lady who says she cannot play any instrument. This should be something she can play!

I like the size - elementary students will be using the guiro for a performance. It is light weight and easy to handle. The sound is great!
