Q: Length on large/xl? sleeves?

I have long arms and the L/XL sleeves were long on me. About 5'8" and 170 lb. I would caution that unless you are more like and XXL or even an XXXL don't order the L/XL. I always wear an Xl and this robe was enormous on me and had to return. Shoulders about 6-8 inches off shoulder line which made the sleeves over long. The length on the robe, at least the L/XL, was longer than most robes which is nice for a tall woman. The thickness of the fabric was also heavier than typical. This is a heavy robe.

Q: I am 5'6" would the lenth go to the ankle?

Yes, I am 5'11" and it goes just barely above my ankles. It might be a little long on you but the robe is fabulous and sooooooooo comfortable. There have been a couple Sundays when I have stayed home and done nothing but watch movies and literally wore the robe all day long!!!

Q: What does xsmall plus mean?

The extra small plus size is a little bit bigger around, but not longer in hight.
