JebaoAquarium Wavemaker (SOW-4)

Whoa, the SOW-15's are really powerful. I went with these given I have 3/4" glass on my 350g marine fish only aquarium. The magnets are powerful enough for this thickness glass. With 1 of these on either end of a 8 ft long tank, I'm still putting the speed at the 2nd lowest position. If I had a coral tank then maybe I'd be a few settings higher, but at this setting there is ample water movement and I can see fish deflected swimming 2-3 ft away from the jet. Also, at setting 3 and above these were pulling sand from 14" away at the bottom via a sand tornado! My only minor complaint is I now have wires going into my tank which I've always tried to avoid. If I had money to burn then I'd avoid this with the much more expensive VorTech's, which I have on my other reef tank, but given the price savings here, well worth the purchase.

The media could not be loaded. First, id like to thank your company for making a cost effective wave pump. The set up went quick and has plenty of options to choose from. I will let it run and may update my review. I would love to get another one to slave it and write a full review! Super quiet and they send a spacer to help the strength of the magnet depending on your glass thickness. Definitely would recommend not without it especially using it on thin glass. Those magnets are strong and it'll slam right through the glass. Great customer service as I was lost in the sauce figuring the controlller out I asked for a replacement and I tried cancelling it but who knows two would be ideal for this.

Easy to set up two units. The directions to are no frills but it had the information I was looking for. Very quiet in operation even at full speed. Magnet was very strong but not too much.I have the two facing at opposite ends of the tank and running in sine mode. Flow is excellent!

I have only been using it for a day of two now but so far it works great. Has adjustable speeds and modes as well as a feed button that turns it off for like ten minutes to allow the fish to eat without blowing food around the tank. The magnet is solid but not heavy that I worry about my tank surface. The only thing I would say it that the instruction page provided wasn't the best. It was confusing to me to understand but once I went to YouTube I was good to go.

I do not understand how these can simultaneously be so much cheaper and yet just as good or better than it’s competitors. Absolutely insane. I got two of these, placed them at opposite ends of my tank, hit the “wi-fe” button (think that’s what it says - the instructions and button labels are hilariously useless) on each and within a few minutes had them alternating on/off in sync to each other, making a wave motion. Stupid easy and now they’re setup I don’t have to worry about them.No stupid app I need to sign into. No overpriced “hub”. No 900 LED controller that inevitably loses its mind every couple of weeks. These just quietly outperform day after day.

I had been using an SOW-8 for quite a while, but found myself having to often readjust it to change the flow because it was so hard on the corals.I knew there was a lower volume model (this SOW-4) and gave it a try. This is in a 54 gallon tank and gives just the right flow, at the second to lowest rate. Very happy with it. Quiet and the magnetic mount is strong.I think the corals appreciate it too as I see more tentacles coming out than I did before.

I was surprised at the amount of water this pump moved. I purchased it for my sump so I needed a small footprint. The magnet holds it in position great and the swivel head allows easy adjustment.Pump is quiet and controller is simple to use. So far a great pump if it lasts.

Works good sends current through out my whole 55 gal tank
