Physically, aside from cosmetic difference, they are the same though. **Q: Is this Apple compatible? For my iPad?** A: The white unit worked on my iPad Air, but I had to connect it to the iPad's USB-C port (using a USB-C to micro USB cable). **Q: how do you connect to macbook Air with no USB port?** A: You can get a usb-c dongle that has usb/hdmi on it and use that for the key if your air doesn't have NFC, the other is a bluetooth key which your air definitely has. **Q: Dose this need to be pluged in at all times?** A: u need it every u need to log in to new device. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐ 3.0 out of 5 stars Bluetooth doesn't work as advertised *by D***. on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 21 December 2018* So using these as USB devices worked without fault. Following the instructions to use the fob with my android phone over bluetooth resulted in failure. The instructions did not represent what I was being asked on my phone (andoid version 7). When you try and pair the fob it flashes it's LED indicator and the phone reports it could not find the device. Ignoring the instructions I went into bluetooth settings on my phone, found the fob and paired it. I then tried to follow the instructions once again to set the fob up, and once again I was informed it could not find the device. I only got my phone to work (it doesn't have NFC if your wondering) by using a micro usb to micro usb cable and connecting the fob directly (something Feitian says doesn't work!). So paying extra for bluetooth was a was of time. Finally if you carry the fob around in say a jeans pocket the battery will not last very long, as the fob's button is activated by the slightest touch. ### ⭐⭐⭐ 3.0 out of 5 stars Good but check compatibility with your device *by W***M on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 26 April 2019* Using this to secure gmail accounts. I was disappointed to realize you cannot use Bluetooth with Windows (only Android and iOS): only use the USB key and connecting the USB port on the bluetooth device will work in Windows. Check the attached image for compatibility. Otherwise, works as described. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Rest Assured *by T***M on Reviewed in the United States on 20 May 2024* With a yubi key no one can get into your PC or laptop, as long as you secure your key under your control.
