Used for the first time today and have been very impressed by the product. I used the official GoPro clip that comes with the GoPro Hero 8. Had it on my back pack that I bought for skiing and it remained in place, even after a tumble or 2 and the positioning allows for freedom of movement, and perfect position to catch some great shots.

The strap itself is well made and fits my backpack strap very well. Jury is out as to how long the camera clip lasts. It is made of very brittle plastic and feels as if it will break quite easily. I have a GoPro clip I can use instead but will see how long the supplied one lasts. Will update review if necessary. For the money, though, and if you have a GoPro clip it is worth having. Can't understand why GoPro don't do one themselves although it would probably be three times the cost

I've used this mount to record skiing footage and I expected it to last a few days on the mountain which I was happy with for the price... however, it's actually awesome. I've attached it to 2 different backpack straps and it stayed in place no problem. It's easy to take on and off using the velcro fastening.I used it with an Insta360 X3 which if you know these cameras, you'll be aware of how heavy they are and how much strain they can put on the camera mount themselves. However, I've had zero issues with it, I even had a huge crash in which the camera took the full impact, the camera was forced from it's original position but the mount just allowed the camera to pivot on the connection arm and it stayed connected. I was actually in shock, I though it would break with half of the pressure applied, but no, I was able to carry on using it for the rest of the trip. Very surprised for the price of this thing. Highly recommend.

Strap velco very strong but gopro mount cracked and broke and I nearly lost my camera after about 30 minutes riding. Had to buy a better quality one which doubled the price of the item. Seller needs to supply better plastic mounts. Other wise good item

This is exactly what I was looking for. Fits comfortably to my north face backpack and stays in place very well. Used with hero 5 session and got some great footage.

Not strong enough, snapped while skiing resulting in lost GoPro

Brilliant quality product, stays nice and secure to the bag strap however the angle for my go-pro is all wrong for what I need. I’d have to have the holder on my shoulder in order to get a forward facing shot. So for this reason it’s not fit for purpose.

Very snug and secure fit with excellent Velcro adhesion and worry-free secure mounting of the GoPro. Used during 2 trail marathons and remained attached and secure although slid down the shoulder strap frequently due to the combined weight of the attached device. Not the fault of the product but simply due to the impact and motion of running with it long distance
