Great for making over-easy eggs.
Just the right curve to flip eggs.

Good Budget Pan
I've gone through a few of these pans and they will usually last me about a year before the nonstick starts wearing out. Almost every weekday I use it to make eggs with a rubber spatula. For the price, a year with daily use is relatively a good life, I suppose. My only other complaint is it's not balanced well and it tends to tip over on the stove when empty. This is a fine budget pan but it may be worth spending just a little bit more to potentially double its lifespan.

Rivets wick grease to outside of pan
I love the teflon pan, and the rubbery handle is very comfortable to hold. However, using rivets to hold the handle to the side of the pan creates a problem. Aluminum is a very soft metal, and the pan, handle and rivets are all aluminum. There is no hermeticity to the rivets and the parts being held together, so with use, any cooking oil or grease that touches the rivet heads, will wick its way under the heads, through the holes, out under the handle flange, then down the outside of the pan like a drooling child. The grease then finds its way onto the burners, and creates smoke. The longer you let it sit on a burner, the more will eventually leak out and down onto it. If you leave a greasy pan on the burner after the food was emptied from it, and you let the burner and pan both sit there and cool, the grease will find its way down and will wet the burner. It's not a lot, but it is so CONSTANT. Ugh.Next time I turn that burner on, it burns off that smoke, and is very undesirable to endure until the oil smokes away.Mechanically, there is no easy way to seal those rivets, especially when they constantly see heat and cool cycles, plus mild bending tension loads when the pan is lifted and set down.I am now looking for an 8" Teflon frying pan that has welded-on studs to mount the handle, instead of cheap, cheesy, leaky rivets. Makes me sad, because I like everything else about this pan.

Spectacular skillet....
This fantastic Farberware frying pan is of excellent quality and well worth buying. It is very easy to clean with warm soapy water, using Dawn dishwashing liquid, and it is a joy to use for cooking blueberry pancakes, fruit compôtes, a bolognese primavera/meat sauce-with-veg combo, and any other recipe one might think of. It is not even necessary to use oil or butter, however, I do use a wee bit of EVOO to prepare the fry pan for cooking. When a recipe is done, the food slides right off the frying pan and onto a plate with ease. It's best to use a wooden spoon or wooden spatula so as not to scratch the pan, and it's best to cook with it on a back burner, with the handle turned away from yourself, so as to avoid any potential mishaps... such as the pan falling off the stove top. One can't go wrong with Farberware, which is an excellent brand.

A good little pan.
I recently purchased this pan and have used it several times and I'm definitely liking it.The highlights:-I have zero issue with food sticking to the pan. No pan spray or oil is required at all, my food just slides right off even with things like eggs or sticky sauces that tend to cling to other pans.-Extremely easy to clean. Use water, soap, and a sponge and wipe it down -- you're done!-The pan sits perfectly flat on my stove-top. One of the things that made me hesitate to buy this pan was other reviewers saying the heavy handle made the pan sit lopsided. I didn't have this issue at all, the pan sits perfectly even on any surface for me.-It can be used on high heat on the stove-top with no issue.-The pan heats up quickly. You're not going to be standing around for 10-15+ minutes waiting for this pan to get hot enough to throw your food in.-The handle is comfortable and easy to grip.-The ability to use this pan in the oven (in temperatures up to 400 degrees) makes it incredibly useful in many recipes that require stove-top to oven cooking and lets you do without the hassle of having to transfer food from a frying pan to an oven-safe dish.Things to keep in mind before buying:-This pan is not very large, so make sure you have a good idea of what an 8 inch pan actually looks like before buying. I find the size of the pan good for me since I typically only cook for one but if you're cooking for multiple people or planning to make large dishes, this pan might not be the one for you.-The pan is rather heavy. You pick it up and it's a noticeable weight in your hands. This isn't an issue for me but it might be important for other people.-It doesn't come with a top, but if you have other pans with tops lying around your house then one of those will likely do just fine over this one.All in all:This is a good non-stick pan for people who don't want to spend a lot of money but who still want a good-quality pan to cook in. I'd recommend it mainly for people who are cooking for one or who need something to cook smaller meals in.

Not Flat
It's true that the 8 inch doesn't lay flat. I find that if I turn the handle somewhat sideways it lays flat. Also I cooked A hamburger in it, and the weight of it made it like flat. Good little pan looks like I can flip eggs with ease.

Nonstick?
My first use for this pan was to make scrambled eggs. I had to use my spatula to scrape off some of the egg that was sticking to the bottom of the pan.Future buyers note: The description reads that this pan is oven safe to 400 degrees. I just read a manufacture answer to a question and that response indicated this the pan was oven safe to 350 degrees.I tried to write to the manufacturer or distributer about my initial problem with sticking and after an extensive look for an address or email, my email bounced backed saying it couldn't be delivered.

Great little pan!
Doesn't stick, is lightweight but with a bottom that feels thick enough to hold heat and not warp easily.Perfect size for eggs & bacon, and other small breakfasts/ meals.

By far my favourite omelette pan. Much higher quality than similar priced pans, and the non-stick surface is true to its name!
