Duncan Hines Comstock Simply Pie Filling & Topping Cherry, 21 Oz Can

I used this in a Black Forrest Cake and the results were wonderful. It's not as overly sweet as other brands and a level of tartness came nicely through.

My wife used this in one of her famous "dump" cakes, and it was just great. Yummy!

This doesn't have any crap in it and tastes like it used to when I was a kid.

They need to put a larger WARNING on the can! In small letters it says may contain pits - well in half a pie we have already ran into one large pit (see photo) and one small fragment pit. May be more in the other half of the pie!Other than both of us almost cracking teeth this was a nice flavored cherry pie but doubt if we buy again. Will update with any more pits from the rest of the pie😟
