TonnoSport 22050179 Roll-Up Cover for Toyota Tacoma Long Bed

I own a 2011 Toyota Tacoma regular cab 4WD truck. I am planning an across country move and decided that I'd need to get a cover for the bed of the truck to keep the elements out. I researched quite a few and settled on the TonnSport Roll-Up Cover for my long bed based on price and some positive reviews. The shipment came quickly in a long narrow box. All the parts were included in the box. As I read the instructions, I noticed that I'd need a #30 Torx driver to remove the bolts holding the cargo rails. I didn't have one so it was off to the 'big box' home center.Removal of the cargo rails was easy; putting the cover's rails on was a bit of a trick. The truck's supplied cargo rails are fitted on the outside of the cover's rail system and plastic spacers are provided that go between the cover's rail system and the box wall. I was able to accomplish this by myself though it was like wrestling an alligator. I'd recommend at least an extra pair of hands. The only con I have is that instead of using #30 Torx headed bolts for the rail system, Allen head bolts are used. Minor gripe but still a gripe.The cover assembly went on very easily and works great. I noticed a couple of openings toward the front of the box behind the cab but they're very small and can be easily plugged. I installed the cover outside in 34F weather and the cover stayed very flexible. The entire install took me about 2.5 hours.The installed tonneau cover looks great on the truck! I'm very happy with it.Update April 2012:The cover is holding up very well but I recently discovered that I can no longer use Toyota's cargo rail system to tie down and secure articles in the truck's bed. Very unhappy! Has anyone found a work around?

In all it is a good cover. It has a nice low profile, it seals up good (velcro), and looks good. The instructions aren't the greatest, and you can not use the rail system without some modifications.

Everything was great. Went together without a problem.

Vinyl roll-up cover works great on the Toyota Tacoma PreRunner with Access cab (long bed). The instructions were straight forward and I had it on (not tightened) within an hour. Would probably go on a lot faster with two people (as trying to match the cargo rail slots with the cover rail slots made me feel like being in the circus). You will lose access to the cargo rail if you have the factory fat tie downs (they sell slim versions online). Wasn't a big deal for me. Rolls up nice and tight and stays drum taught when down. Not much more I can ask for. Does leak a little bit of water in on around the front edges (haven't played with it too much though).

The cover sits lower than any other cover i have seen, it is everything i expected at this price point, good material, easy installation and easy to use.Now the down side the main rails are 3+ inches wide and narrow your bed and the clamps that attach them limit the movement of your tie downs.I would definitely recommend this cover.

This was a great purchase and it fit like a glove. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a soft tonneau cover. It installed in about 90 minutes.The only thing is my factory tie downs will have to be modified to fit.

Fits perfectly, but the instructions are not that clear. The hardest part about installing this cover is trying to hold the side rails in place as you try to get the bolts started. It can be done by yourself though!
