Works great when mounted with screws
The less i have to bring to and remember to take home from a gig is important. As others stated, this could slip off when used on hard floors, or a cab with no lip. My Dr. Z 1x12 has a lip on the edge so no slipping for me. However, i prefer a quicker setup and takedown, so I drilled two holes through the stand, and mounted to my cab via 2 screws. Now, when I pick it up, the stand folds neatly down against the cab, and one handed carry. To the manufacturer: modify with two pre-drilled holes and include mounting screws for this option. To users: don't be afraid to drill two small holes in your cab- it's just a piece of wood, nothing special.

Nicely made, rugged, portable amp stand
Does what it says it does. Very rugged. If you tip your amp upright, the UniStand will fall over and make quite a noise on a hard surface floor.

Simple, effective and portable
It stores easily in the back of my amp. My amp is pretty small (‘68 Princeton Reverb). It folds up for easy storage, and has a sturdy base and brace for the back of the amp when in use.It has a telescoping-like adjustment to fit different amp sizes. First couple of uses will take longer to figure out the best way to brace your amp, so take your time and get it right. I usually put a hand behind and in front of the amp and give it a little push in either direction to make sure it is positioned well. Have played pretty loud and on bouncy stages with 100% success. Very happy with product.

Buyer be aware
Be aware you are buying a used item, at least that is what was shipped to me. I have the original, for which I paid $29.99. The device is sturdy, very portable and very useful. The one I'm writing a review for, is clearly a used return. Scratched , and dirty. Having said that , it is also $9.99 less expensive. That is OK. with me , don't care if it is scratched, its an Amp. stand, don't care if it needs wiping, I'll wipe it. Just do not mislead people into thinking they are buying a brand new item, that it's not. I'll take the 10 bucks off. 3 stars for not being candid, however the item works well for me.

Pretty ok but don't use it with a drummer
Takes a minute to find the right spot to position it, but it will prop your amp. However, it is not secure enough to prevent it from falling over if it shares a stage with a kick drum. Maybe there's a way to modify it.

Sterdy sensible piece of low tech gear
This stand is so simple, I almost didn't know how to use it when I took it out of the box! But it makes great sense. Just adjust the height, tilt your amp back and adjust the angle of the top and bottom tilt pieces. As long as you have it placed flat on the floor, and flat on the back of your amp, probably near the top of the amp, then it should be solid. It's basic physics, you are using this stand to create the third side of a triangle. The floor is one side, the back of your amp is the other, and the stand is the third. The metal feels heavy and strong, the joints feel solid. Now, the usual warnings apply. If you're kicking or jumping on your amp, then you get what you deserve. Also, if your amp is super tall, then maybe the center of gravity will bee too high. Just remember, this stand probably needs to be near the top of the back of your amp so it won't fall over. Also, a slippery or wet floor might not be a good idea, but hopefully your amp isn't on a wet floor.I'm using this with a 2-10 open back combo that weighs around 50 pounds so I have the top of the stand placed right at the top of the amp where the heaviest part of the amp is. I have been using it on carpet. I just discovered, by trying it on a slick floor, that the amp could slide and fall because there are no rubber feet on the bottom back edge of my amp. So, use this on carpet, or try and add some rubber feet on to the back edge of your amp.

This thing dropped my amp and broke it
Do not buy this stand! It’s not stable at all. It dropped my amp and now my amp won’t work at all!!!

Great invention!
I normally read reviews but never write - even when satisfied. But this time I just have to input something. These stands are just perfect for my use at home! I personally probably won't venture out to a gig anytime soon but for my studio needs they are amazing! Tight and right. I toured for 27 years with all sorts of rocks bands and this is another invention I missed thinking of - so simple! I think anyone could easily gig with these with maybe just a touch of velcro to ensure a grab on the back of the amp, but not needed at home. Congrats on this invention! I'm telling everyone I know.

Cumple con el propósito
Creí que tenía que adecuar un agarre para el suelo, pero afortunadamente no fue necesario ya viene integrado.

This does work as intended.
This stand is ideal for smaller combo amps.It allows you to tilt the amp back for better projection of sound in a confined space.Works really well with my Fender Mustang 3 V2. It also collapses down into a small piece which sits inside the back of the amp for transportation.Personally I would have preferred it to have a wider foot on the base and fine height adjustment capabilities but it’s unique to the market so I’mhappy to take it as is.

Poor protection in shipping
The box that the unit came, seems a little beaten up. Poor protection in shipping? Aside from that seems to do the job. I would suggest that they make like some opening at the under part of the top bracket, so that one could put two screws to hold the unit and prevent the amplifier from falling or slipping. Aside from that I am satisfied with the product!
