This has worked great! We got a wam bam fence and needed a power driver. This has been a little hard because it’s just tricky to balance on top of a 5 foot post when you’re only 5’5”. However for the price it’s awesome. Also, the inner pounder part came unhooked and won’t hook back in, but we just put it on top of the post and put the pounder sleeve thing over it and it works fine. I’m so glad be bought this. It was definitely the cheapest out there but that doesn’t seem to be a major issue for what we need.

Does not work well. Found it easier to drive t-posts by hand. This would drive a t-post about 4-5 inches into the ground before losing power and drive. We wasted 30 minutes trying to get this to work properly on first 3 t-posts. Ended up driving the next 30 by hand in an hour. Waste of money and product seller won’t return my emails. Highly advise against purchasing.

It comes with very good packaging, the tool and spare parts were protected very well. It takes around 130 seconds per 7 foot T-post.The price is not high but get job done. I have been looking for such a tool because piling is really a tough job, this is the right tool what I want. It is light, does not require power and highly efficient. This is a impressive shopping for me.Highly recommended.

Does what it says it will do, but only in “normal” thickness soil. I’m out in a Nevada hardpan with some softish dirt and some hard pack sand, and it will not drive a T-post through the hard pack. Still made the fence job much easier. Build quality is good, fuel tank will last an honest days work and it starts up easier than most 2-stroke engines even in 110° heat. Handles are comfortable and it’s light enough to reach over your head for extra-tall posts. Overall the best value for the money, similar units do the same job for 3x the price. Recommended by an airport owner.

400 tposts into use and it wont start. Bearings on insert blew out after the first 100 tposts, but have held in shaft while moving from tpost to tpost. Tried to get away from air compressor for fencing bit it looks like I will be reverting back.

Bought one of these to drive some galvanized posts into soft earth (more like muck...certainly not hard or rocky!), and paid the extra $45 for the extended warranty. Glad I did, as the first one went out (bearings shot, collars wallowed out, etc.) after driving about 100 posts. Used the Asurion warranty coverage, and bought the exact same model again. This one lasted a few days, and IT DIED AS WELL! I'm not commenting on one unit...I got a replacement and it STILL crapped out after a short period. Not recommended unless you only have to drive a few easy posts every once in a while. My project was larger, and I still didn't finish it with TWO brand new drivers...

After opening the container....I was left with the impression that the box had been previously opened. By looking at the instructions and pictures there seemed to be a tube of something missing. The top layer of foam was pretty beat up. The pile drivers itself worked like champ...awesome tool...from right out of the box did 96 1.5 post no problems. It needs better instructions on the gas container....not sure why the container had a 50.1 mix when it can only do 25.1

I read the reviews, it’s on me - but I still took a leap of faith and bought this for a very small project in sandy soil.Pros:- Fired right up with 20:1 ratio- Like that they included two different sized driver heads- Reasonably light for one person- Kind of cool that they give you a little gas can - especially since it’s an odd ratio that your other tools don’t likely useCons:- Just isn’t enough power. It makes lots of noise but can’t drive posts the way I’d expect - it’s 50 times faster pounding them by hand even when you’re exhaustedI wanted to like it - but it was way too weak for what I needed it to do.Amazon was AMAZING and issued me a full, hassle-free refund and were great to work with.
