Fan would not run upon receipt. Contacted Clam and the nice person on the phone was very helpful. Seems there were some that seemed to get something between the contacts of the switches both the light and fan. She suggested that I simply try sliding the switches back an forth maybe 30 times to wear off whatever was keeping the contacts from doing their job. If that didn't resolve they would replace the unit. Since we wanted it for this trip I just worked the switches back and forth, mote like 75 to 100 times and at about 50 things started working and by 100 the issue was gone. Thus really only took a few minutes much less than doing a warranty claim would take and then having to wait. I was at to use the light that night in the Clam Pavillion for dinner. The fan does not move a lot of air but for dining it will be fine. The Led light was perfect for dining, soft but adequate. Very glad I got it.

Save your $$$...this thing is lacking in so many ways. Its noisy. The fan and lights dont work well together. Buy a cheap battery fan and an LED flashlight and your going to be money ahead and not disappointed!!!

im using a female 12 volt adapter and running it off my battery mounted in my sled. works great in my large insulated hub style ice house. can leave the buddy heater on low on most days.

Works great! Some might say that it doesn't push a lot of air, but if what your looking for is a table top fan go to WalMart! This little fan does it's job great, it's made to be a tent fan and for that it works great. When your in an enclosed tent with little air movement you can really feel it. Two blades not 3 or 4, but hey as I said as a tent fan it's great. It bends and twists to allow table top use or floor use for the tent. It also comes with a car cigarette lighter attachment to plug into your car if your batteries run out.

Super bright LED lights up entire tent. Hanging from the center of the tent ceiling is very convenient. The fan is not very strong, but it does help the tent to not be so "stuffy" after sitting in the heat and humidity all day.

This thing is cheap plastic. Not made with quality at all.

two disappointing points#1 the fan speed is very slow. I used it in a 6 man tent and could not feel it at all just a few feet away#2 the end covering the batteries does not stay in place and the fan is liable to fall when hanging

Out of the box, when you put the fan on and the led on high.. the fan bogs down to the point it’s not worth having on.. tried multiple ways of powering it.. I suffered with it for a year. I finally upgraded and man was this thing a piece of junk.Buy the Coleman one triple the quality for half the price.. getting sucked into a name here.
