MinnetonkaMen's Classic Fringe Moccasin Boot

You can't beat a pair of Minnetonkas. They're the most comfortable shoe/boot around! The suede will last you a lifetime and comfort again, is amazing. The men in the family own the tall laced boots and recently this classic fringe boot. The young man's feet in this case are Triple EEE wide and these fit him amazingly well. He ordered the accurate size as per the website, so sizing is spot on without guesswork. The suede is soft and pliable, the stitching is very high quality and the padding on the inside was very thick and unexpected, actually! A bonus!These were purchased to be worn as the only shoes at a frontiersman camping retreat over the course of 3 days. These were worn for play, for walking, for boys stuff, in sand and rain and they don't look like they've been worn at all. They clean up nicely and are just totally amazing. For this price, it's worth it. These will last our son a very long time. They are also breathable and he encountered no stinky feet in these boots. All day and most of the night for 3 consecutive days - that's impressive! His tent-mates were also very pleased. :)Hubby put KG Bootguard on the bottoms and it mats the nap down and creates a barrier to dampness. Worked awesomely!!! The color is beautiful and again, stayed true despite running around through dirt, mud and sand. The suede cleans off beautifully and effortlessly with a brush. Definitely an excellent purchase.

I like it they fit great keep my feet. Kind of warm and have a good grip because I have hardwood floors. They’re basically indoor shoes for me.

Update / Downgrade of review: Got these on Nov 22nd...string broken 14 April. In less than 5 months the tie string broke. It actually began wearing very thin a couple of months ago and I tied knots in it to reinforce the thin areas. The problem with the design, is there is no way to change the tie easily...it is sewn in to the shoe. I will completely have to remove the seam and utilize an awl to hand sew it back. I'll have to do it on both...to get it to match...and the second one isn't far behind. Wish they put eyelets for an easy change. And...put a "real" shoestring in. If I didn't like them so much, I'd knock off two stars. I'd expect more than 5 months use, for a couple hours a day, houseshoe use...before they've become useless, without an overhaul. This problem has been noted in other reviews. Please fix!!!!!!!!!!Original Review: So...my feet get cold in the cool of the year. I have some of those sheepskin "moccasins" that are furry on the inside...usually way to hot for my feet. In the past, I've run around in socks and wear lots of them out, prematurely. I wasn't sure if I was going to like these, with the "insole" liner...but it gives these just enough cushion, to be VERY comfortable. I can go out and get the mail, over my cobblestone driveway without doing the "ouch dance". Most importantly...my feet don't get sweaty in these and they breathe like a heavy sock. Wish I'd found these earlier in life :)I would definitely order these again!

These are seriously so comfortable and excellent quality! If you're looking for a good pair of moccasins, look no further!✨

I love this shoe style but a few things I don't like. Most the shoes run small but they will stretch. Second is the fastener or tie type fastener, it needs to be improved, but when it breaks or does not work any longer it is easy to arange a self made type fastener that is often better than the factory method. I love these Mocisons and once they get used to my feet and my feet get used to them, I never take them off and I sleep in them and always have them on my feet. They are not water proof and so I don't bath nor shower with them, but I will wear them in bad and wet and smowy weather conditions. They grip ice pretty good with the soles, at least for a while. They are better than most shoes and less expensive than most shoes. Once you wear them, you don't want nor need any other foot wear. They are GREAT!

I had a pair of these in the seventies, loved um.!!! the right color tan.

I wish they had a barefoot boxier toe area.Toes can not spread for balance.Length is not needed with next size up and is not the answer as they are soft and stretch/ form to the feet lengthwise,but cause tripping.Also wish they had a thin soft flexable rubber non slip sole.Would be perfect to wear all the time if these things could be changed.Loved the simplicity in appearance.

Der Klassiker von 1967. Günstiger Preis trotz Handarbeit und gutem Wildleder. Etwas fragil, aber dafür sind es echte Mokassins ohne Laufsohle. Man läuft wie barfuß und sehr leise. Cooler Look und kultig. Jimi Hendrix trug sie auch.
