The things important to me were: a) easy to get on and off, b) tablet fits in charging base even when this cover is on. This definitely met both of those needs. I took a chance on this just from the pictures shown and was not disappointed. I didn't want a protective front with keyboard or anything like that...just a quality protective slip cover that feels good in my hands. It is thick and coarse enough that it does not feel as though the tablet will fly out of one's hands. However, I did find it hard to put the case on.
