She just turned 3 and she's 3'4" 38 lbs and it's great for her. She got the hang of it right away. I LOVE how this is such a smooth ride. It just goes right over twigs and pebbles.I do suggest, if this is your child's first scooter or if they aren't used to scooters, put them in some shoes that cover their ankles, because my girl did knock it on her ankles once or twice while she was getting used to it. I spent a lot of late night couch time reviewing scooters for my two year old and this one made sense for us. We started her with the front wheels locked to gain confidence and after a few weeks she became a pro and we unlocked them for easier maneuvering. Our oldest child is 7 so we've gone through quite a few scooters and this one is by far the best. We love it, she loves it, and we get asked every time we're at the park where we bought it!
