I have had these lights for now three years, they are a great thing to have as they light up my studio and work excellent for the chromakey rig. For the value they have done great especially having to move my studio, the bag and original box from Amazon made transporting these effortlessly. My reason for not giving a full five-star rating is occasionally at my old studio and new studio if you do not either unplug the lights or turn the lights off from AC power they randomly turn on in the middle of the night and that has gone to be annoying once in a while.

I bought the 3 pack of these LCD lights and once I got them all set up (which took like a few minutes and was SUPER simple!) and turned them on it filled my new recording area that I am just setting up with such bright light that I was literally filled with excitement!I have 2 small children and it is hard to make videos during the daytime while they are awake without doing a LOT of sound editing from them talking,playing, and giggling in the background so I put my new studio set up in our basement which has 2 large windows in it but the lighting was never good enough so I knew I needed to buy some video lights to make it work/look well.I was looking at every possible type of lighting solution comparing a LOT of LCD lights, fluorescent, and tungsten ones plus softbox and umbrella lighting as well. I was also researching lighting colors as well and how that would have an effect on how the mood/feeling the video would end up having.So having the ability to change the color of the lighting and the brightness of it at a touch of a button was SUPER important to me and the easiness of the controls and how it will allow you to change the settings on 1 of the 3 to automatically change all 3 at the same time is such a cool feature!I really needed something to be bright so I was going through all of the other brands that sell them online and the 4800lux this one had blew all of the other ones I could find with the same other features of being able to adjust the brightness and color temperature from yellow to bright white made this one a no brainer for the money!I only found a few other ones that would almost come close but they would have less lumens or less control of the brightness levels or the color spectrum or they would have cheap plastic stands which by the way the stands that came with this lighting kit are very nice metal ones that I for sure don't have to worry about getting easily tipped over by my kids or something because they are VERY sturdy!I am EXTREMELY HAPPY with these and I would recommend them to anyone who doesn't want to spend multiple hours comparing and researching all of the other LCD video lighting kits (and any other type of lighting kits for that matter) to just make the jump and get these ones you will be super happy you did!P.S. I have bought over 920 products from Amazon so far and this is only the 15th review I have ever left on Amazon to date.... I hope that goes to show you that I am not one to randomly say gushing positive things to say about a product unless it was truly amazing.... but this was one of those outstanding products that I have bought here at the best price I could find, so it compelled me to leave this glowing review about it! I bought the lights several months ago for video. As far as the color and brightness these are great and definitely deliver. However, they have one major flaw- they turn on by themselves constantly. I've tried changing the band, thinking that perhaps something was interfering, but the problem persists. The lights will randomly change color during use too, which messes up whatever you're working on if you wanted specific settings. Overall I would not purchase these again, as there are other lights out there without the temperamental nature of these. Overpriced.

I have lights that are HUGE soft boxes and LARGE umbrella set ups. When using this sort of light setup even in a very large space things start to get warm and working long enough in front of them perspiration is inevitable. In smaller spaces there is no way a large lighting setup would work. In some instances they could, but it would be an oven. I needed lights that are professional in feel and look, to use in increasingly cramped spaces and when locations move or are on the go.The reasons I chose this set over others; The Digital LED panel, the placement of knobs and controls, 45W vs 30W, 480 bi-color LEDS, tungsten-daylight 3200-5600K Color Temperature, ability to fit into cramped spaces, on location shoots with no access to power outlets. There is a remote control for the lights which would make them even more useful, it wasn’t for sale at the time I made my purchase. I will be adding it to this kit. It will make this an even greater asset on the set.What I found when I unboxed my kit:I was impressed as soon as I saw the stands. Great Quality something that will last. It matches their description.The lights have a quality feel to them, not light weight plastic. The incremental light adjustment works great. I like how well it works and how easy it is to push the button on the dial to go from tungsten-daylight 3200-5600K. Once the lights are mounted to the stands, I have no worries about it tipping over or being unbalanced even at the highest adjustment. Those lights won't be going anywhere. There is ample amount of cord as well. I use the included velcro strap to attach the power supply to the stand, in that way it won't dangle.Will you have to purchase cases for the flat panel LED lights? YesWill you have to purchase cases for the light stands? YesWill you have to purchase the batteries? YesWill you have to purchase the remote control? YesThere weren’t any reviews about this current product and I took a chance, I am so glad I did.What I would like to see from the seller would be a kit that includes the cases for the lights and stands, as well as the remote control. Although at this time there is no such kit, it would not deter me from future purchases from the seller. The lights are high quality and when lighting makes a difference between a poor quality shoot and a high quality shoot, I go with high every time.If you have any questions the seller is very prompt in responding. I feel they will stand by their 12 months warranty and lifetime friendly email service or receive your 100% payment back.

Easy to use

These lights are very bright, easy to set up and easy to control. I prefer the desk clamps to the tripods. Overall fit and finish is not as high quality as other brands in this space, but luminescence is outstanding.I would say this is a good choice for serious but amateur needs. One of my lights did have a dead pixel so I will be either returning or exchanging.
