This was sold as used but it arrived in original box well wrapped with all the instructions and in perfect looking condition. It fits the camera well and all the custom buttons seem to function as they should do. The only downside is that it only works with genuine Sony batteries but that’s not a problem for me and it clearly tells you that in the description. This was half the price of a new one meaning I could buy nearly 10 of these compared to a Sony one!!! Even at full price I would still highly recommend it. I’ve never held a Sony one so I can’t compare it to quality and weight. I’ve bought genuine before and usually there’s not much in it to be honest certainly not for the amount of money you pay. I only put 3 stars for battery life because I really don’t see the point in it and I haven’t used the grip for any length of time yet. Overall I definitely recommend this product and I just can’t understand why Sony, Nikon, Cannon and the rest need to charge so much for this type of product other than pure greed.

Went straight on and did the job perfectly, an excellent product for the cost, highly recommended.

The quality is by no means cheep looking or feeling. Good firmest to my mkiii body.Obviously not as refined as the original however for the money I am happy.As per reviews the buttons are a tad noisyer than the body but not a deal breaker and the suspect week latch isn’t as bad as made out. With care and attention I don’t expect any issues.

Just what I was looking for without spending a fortune. Feels good, looks good, double battery life.

Far cheaper than the original and just as good, if you are looking for a decent grip as well as a way to help extend your battery life then this is a great option. The grip feels great and it does not add too much weight to the camera, it feels like a natural extension of the camera, it’s that good!

Very good and cheap alternative to Sony. If you get a battery error, simply check that it is fastened well. I have been using it on my a7iii for 2 months now. Works brilliantly

Works flawlessly and very good quality.Only minor point is that the joystick is a bit ‘clicky’, unlike the genuine Sony one which is softer, more responsive, and doesn’t make any sound.

I've either received a dud or maybe others are not using the latest camera firmware. I tested with 2x Neewer batteries (which works fine on camera with latest firmware) I have, as well as with my Sony battery, still the same error message upon turning on and then the camera shut off. Even if it worked, the quality is terrible. I knew I shouldn't have cheaped out and just bought the official Sony version. Build quality is terrible, very plasticy, no weather sealing anywhere, rubber textured grip area already looked like it was starting to peel off from the edges. Buttons are super clicky, tactile and loud, complete opposite of the soft but responsive and quiet buttons on body. As always, you get what you pay for. If those things don't bother you and you get one that works with your firmware then go for it. As for me, I'm returning this quicker than Amazon Prime delivered it to me.
