I ordered two of these boxes because I'm decluttering and tidying at present, trying to achieve a cleaner tidier appearance in my flat.The boxes did not disappoint. They are made of very sturdy cardboard, much stronger than, say, a shoebox. The antique map design is every bit as nice as the Amazon picture and the box has a glazed appearance. The box arrives flat and you have to fold the bits in together - the diagram is clear and you should be fine if you've ever done a minimal amount of craft work or DIY.The handles are very sturdy plastic. You have to snap them apart from their own rivets, push the rivet through a hole (already punched for you) and then push the handle into the rivet. Again it's an easy DIY job although a tiny bit challenging for me as I have arthritis in my hands.If you are badly disabled in your hands you might not be able to manage the rivets but once assembled this is a lovely looking box. Sturdy enough for use by adults or sensible kids.I've given it five stars for durability on the basis that it's used carefully, but four stars for assembly, for me at least, because of the handle issue.

I thought I was purchasing a durable plastic container. Why? Because the product description advises that it is made of plastic!! Not that I am a huge fan of plastic... I just wanted something that lasts. I got a cardboard box instead. It's quite a pretty cardboard box for sure... but in every other respect it is a bloody cardboard box. If you regularly buy things from Amazon you probably know what a cardboard box is. Yup, the thing your purchase arrives in. So I spent just under nine pounds of the danger money they pay us in the NHS to get a cardboard box containing.....a cardboard box. Gutted of Glasgow.

The box is sturdy, made of a thick carboard with a glossy outside finish.Putting together the box is easy enough, it includes a few instructions on the inside of the box (on one of the folds) but these aren't really necessary as it is easy enough to understand.Only downside is the instructions are on the inside of the box don't look the nicest as they are on one of the covering folding pieces and cannot be hidden.The base of the inside of the box also isn't the nicest, but this isn't too much of an issue when there is more stuff in it.Overall, a very nice box, it's biggest perk is definitely the sturdiness and the image is very nice, the glossy finish is also a major plus.

I am dissapointed with the design quality which differ from what was ofeered and presented on the sller's picture. The reason I paid £8.25 for a cardboard was the design presented. Therefore I feel missleaded and dissapointed as the overall finish/design/look/quality is nothing like the presented one. Also the colour is rather pink not yellow. It looks like a cheap xerocopy of the oryginal picture. Please see my photo of the real product. Delivery and service was great, although I can not reccomend the product.

Ok .. the product is brilliant as expected .. but the delivery driver went beyond and its hard to know how to point this out to his boss. So in the eye of a storm the knock on the door signified an arrival of the package .. as we live in darkest devon ..there was no outside light. The driver was soaking wet and told us he was slightly late because he had had a puncture and had to repair it in the dark . He was then off onto his next delivery.. we hear so much about parcels tossed about and here there was a driver that cared enough to find my door despite having a rubbish day.

The box is definitely NOT yellow it is pinkish, so does not go with my room. Searched high and low to find a yellow box, so disappointed, as it looked perfect in item photo.

Sturdy boxes, arrived flat with lids and separate handles. Exactly what I needed. Had no trouble assembling them.They store a lot of items and are sturdy and robust when moving them around when full.I read some other reviews saying they were a bit flimsy but I personally found them to be strong, good value, good quality and fit for purpose. Nice colours and patterns too.I bought 8 boxes in total and was pleased with the purchase.

I bought this as a gift box to put all the presents I had bought my daughter for her 18th birthday. She absolutely loves it, and now stores her keepsake items in there ready to take to uni next year.Easy to assemble apart from the handles, however I think that was due to me having reduced mobility!The lid has a faint smell of lavender, bought this in October and it’s still there slightly.
