good for a basecamp, works just fine
all in all it worked very well. some small gaps in the fit, but it ran like a champ. it did need to be babysat a little bit to make sure it remained lit, but I was using small sticks for the most part. when testing it out with 2 inch by 1 inch scrap pieces it ran with less work. without a doubt a good addition to my base camp kit.

Not a backpacking stove!
This stove is heavy, assembled or unassembled. Fabrication is excellent, near perfect fit and finish. I had some very minor deburring to make assembly/disassembly easier, especially disassembly. First try had to use a mallet to take it apart (one piece stuck). One light tap did it. This stove was bought as an emergency backup in case we run out of fuel. It lit fast and burned hot with sticks and twigs. A pot or frying pan fits nicely on it. It might be a good idea to include lighting instructions, although there are many tutorials available on the internet.

Sturdy, will last forever
Very sturdy and strong stove. Well built thick steel. Only downside was in putting it together. Required a bit of filing and a little hammering to get everything together and properly lined up. But once together it is awesome.

not my smartest purchase, does work, more of a collectors item than practical stove
Heavy and clunky. My fault for not doing more research

Only took a couple minutes to assemble with no instructions
It was pretty easy to assemble right out of the box. When I was done, I had two pieces remaining and they weren't mentioned on the instruction sheet. But those mounted on top as a burner top for pots and pans.
