In short: some of the supplied connectors proved to have issues once I tried to melt solder. I ended up having to cut out and use a few other connectors until I found one that would flow the solder.

I really like these. I use them on critical stuff like fuel injector wires. I normally put heat shrink over them because I’m weird like that, but they work great. There’s a fine line between melting the solder ring and burning the coating, so choose your torch setting carefully.
