**Q: How long is the recording time?**
A: I think it was about a minute..plenty of time,  mY grandson is 4 and loves it!

**Q: does it come with the batteries?**
A: It has been awhile but yes, I believe that it came with 2 AAA.

**Q: Can I add led lights inside that will glow outside?**
A: I have not tried to put lights in it but, based on how it is built, I don't think that the lights would be seen.
